Galactic Battlegrounds[]

Isn't this the same thing as the "Light AT-ST" from Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds? --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 04:23, January 1, 2014 (UTC)

Kuat Drive Yards[]

The Manufacturer info came from Star Wars Rebels: The Visual Guide.--AV-6R7 06:14, July 26, 2014 (UTC)

At-AR[]

Would it be wise to consider the AT-DP and AT-AR a canon and non-canon mirror of each other? I have seen it done on a few pages where teh canon and non-canon page have different names... ralok (talk) 11:36, October 28, 2014 (UTC)

The AT-AR is supposed to be a different walker, they very similar but they have different roles in the Imperial Army (the AT-DP it's a defence "police" walker, the AT-AR it's an armored, fast front line walker
  • I think that the fact that the AT-ARs inside the imperial garrison on Tatooine have been renamed AT-DPs in the new locations book may justify considering them their "canon version". Also, despite being described as defence pods they have been used as patrol and attack platforms in several occasions in Rebels. --GLTh3Pr0 (talk) 10:00, August 15, 2017 (UTC)

Concept Art[]

I am not a proper Wookieepedian, but maybe you want to add some clarification to the Concept Art section.

The Concept Art was done by Pat Presley, based on the sketches.

"The AT-DP concept created for the recently released TV show Star Wars: Rebels. The concept was based on an unused original design sketch by Joe Johnston for The Empire Strikes Back. I reworked the design to fit the animated show in later stage of the design along with working out the interior cockpit...but for the most part the Joe Johnston-design is intact."

The Force Awakens?[]

I've seen the movie three times, but I never found the AT-DP's head on Jakku. Was it elsewhere or I just missed it? Unsigned comment by GLTh3Pr0 (talk • contribs).

  • The luggabeast that captured BB-8 on Jakku was helmeted by one. Cwedin(talk) 09:08, January 10, 2016 (UTC)
    • I think it looks a little bit too small to be an AT-DP's head-EDIT: I compared the two heads and they are not so similar, also the loopholes are very different and in the luggabeast they can be moved as if they were eyes, have we got any proof that was an AT-DP's head?--GLTh3Pr0 (talk) 09:40, January 10, 2016 (UTC)

Rogue One[]

The page doesn't give any source about the walker's appearance in RO. Also, RO Visual Story Guide's released pages mention the AT-DP, saying however that it was used on Lothal. --GLTh3Pr0 (talk) 11:05, May 17, 2016 (UTC)

At Dp functions and more[]

I have a question if at dps were used in space in think in the honourable ones http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/The_Honorable_Ones like outside of the pressurized hanger are the slits in a atdp glass or whatever glass steel or sumthing or is it someyhing else? Its shown here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJ2oBbI5J9w

Imperial Handbook[]

Since we've deleted the Legends article for the AT-DP, what do we think about adding its info from the Imperial Handbook? Its completely non-contradictory and was written specifically about this vehicle, not the AT-AR with a new name slapped on it. - Imperial Information Office AV-6R7Crew Pit 21:19, May 20, 2017 (UTC)

  • I'd suggest against it due to the nature of the source being of the Legends continuity. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 21:23, May 20, 2017 (UTC)
    • I'd suggest we add this information to the Bts then, rather than just saying the Imperial Handbook mentioned it (it actually has an entry with a picture) and choosing not to acknowledge it any further. - Imperial Information Office AV-6R7Crew Pit 21:28, May 20, 2017 (UTC)
      • Yeah, that works. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 22:24, May 20, 2017 (UTC)
        • Even so, the AT-DP is officially part of the old EU via the Imperial Handbook. I don't mind though, it's still a great battle walker, and stays truer to Johnston's sketch than the AT-AR did. 8:33 PM; April 21, 2018 Ghost of LucasArts
