[edit] Alpha's Armor
Alpha is seen in blue armor, meaning he's a lieutenent, in what little I've seen of the Republic series of comic books. This picture has him in red captain armor. Where is that picture from? Are we even sure it's him? -- AdmThrawn --
- It's from an Insider issue. And yes, it's him. Plus, he's called a captain, so he has to have red armor. Admiral J. Nebulax 23:13, 20 Dec 2005 (UTC)
This armor is of the Arc commander Fordo in the Animated clone wars series. I know this because I, Sevrules32 am a star wars fanatic and know alot about Star Wars.
The pic is from the Holonet News feed in Insider 74 as part of the news feed's "Clone Commander Graduates Ready for Action" article (page 66 of the issue). However, no where in the article does it mention Alpha's rank. Only that he was the "lead instructor at the Tipoca City training facility." In fact no where in the article is there any mention of the rank of captain. The only rank given is Commander, and that's talking about Thire, the only other clone mentioned in the article. So where does Alpha being named a captain come from?
- He's not a captain. This has been settled for quite some time. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- If the Blue ARC Troopers are Lieutenants, then why Is Alpha 17 blue? He was pretty high up in rank plus he trained all the commanders we see in ROTS. Does anyone know the answer to this? JediBob 19:35, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Quote
Now wait a second, how come it can't be a quote from the person? Look at Boba Fett's quote. Yoda's quote. This one should be acceptable. It's not like it's in the manual of style or anything. --Xilentshadow900 23:57, 28 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- So? I don't care about their pages. The point is, quotes should talk about the subject of the article. Otherwise, there's not much of a point to it. Admiral J. Nebulax 00:04, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- You don't care about their pages? What kind of answer is that? Let's look at the purpose of a quote, shall we? A quote about a character is provided show show that character's personality in a brief sentence, and the quote I provided does just that. Don't be illogical about this. The quote is fine where it is.--Xilentshadow900 00:07, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Fine. But a better quote should be found. Admiral J. Nebulax 01:05, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Asajj Ventress
Hmm, I think the paragraph on his dissapearance should be removed, because I'm not exactly sure that he was on the same medical ship.--Xilentshadow900 14:16, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- I believe it's stated in Obsession. Admiral J. Nebulax 14:20, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- I'll look it up.--Xilentshadow900 14:21, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- I myself don't have it, just to let you know. Admiral J. Nebulax 14:23, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Alright, this is what happens. Alpha is on a stretcher, and is headed toward a medical ship. Ventress is also put on a stretcher, and is placed a few meters from Alpha. So I'm pretty sure they were on the same ship, but I'm not that sure. And they don't say anything about it, so I'm not sure.--Xilentshadow900 14:25, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Well, might as well leave it in. Admiral J. Nebulax 14:28, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- If he appears somewhere else after, we should know. But until then, I guess he's a captive.--Xilentshadow900 14:30, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Ventress probably kills him, unless she actually let go of her rage and hate. Admiral J. Nebulax 14:31, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- I think she actually let go of it. Unless she went of to become a really bad sith...--Xilentshadow900 14:35, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- It would be interesting for a new story to come out with her as the main character set during the Great Jedi Purge... Admiral J. Nebulax 14:40, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- It would make a good story, although I would think she would try and stay away a little longer than that.--Xilentshadow900 14:52, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Who knows. I've always been writing my own little Star Wars stories; might as well write a little story on this. Admiral J. Nebulax 14:54, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Although, I did find the prose of obsession a little hard to grasp. Obi-wan was completely out of character. But Asajj didn't exactly release her hatred. She seemed confused at the end, and she didn't really like anybody. Her last words (or so they thought): "OBI-WAN: I thought you'd Use your dying breath to curse us. ASAJJ:Perhaps I have...or perhaps I just...hate Dooku more than I hate you... or Maybe...you were right about me...all along..." Pretty ominous...--Xilentshadow900 15:01, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)

- Ah, on the star wars website, best of 2005 article it says: "Alpha-17: Technically not a 2005 addition, but Alpha-17 finally met his fate in the Dark Horse Comics Obsession story arc... or did he? One never knows what to expect from the pre-eminent ARC trooper." That pretty much confirms it I think.--Xilentshadow900 15:09, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Confirms what? I lost you there. Admiral J. Nebulax 15:10, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Alpha's Armor
Alpha's armor is a blue color but the red cloen pictured is none other than ARC commander Fordo in the Clone Wars animated series. Sevrules32
[edit] muscles
his muscles in the torture pic look to big to fit in his armor in the other pics 71.214.117.22 20:32, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Just a question...
Considering how important the Clone Commanders training from Alpha was in the scheme of the Clone Wars, is it possible that a new article about said training should be created? I mean, isn't it a necessary topic and article? I'd start it and others could help me complete it. Just a thought. Darthkam 22:10, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Alpha and Rex
Is Alpha actually Rex? Because if you watch the commentary on the Clone Wars film, it's said that Rex was originally meant to be Alpha, but that idea was dropped because it would be like "Anakin, Ahsoka, Alpha" - the "A Team". So the director said that George Lucas renamed Alpha as "Rex", which possibly means he just renamed the character instead of creating a whole new one. JordanRevin08 17:24, 24 November 2008 (UTC)JordanRevin08
- Alpha is an ARC Trooper, Rex - a clone Captain. They have different designations and different behavior. They are definitely separate characters. Mauser 17:28, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- they probably mean that The Clone Wars was going to have Alpha from the comics, but instead decided to make a replacement. Especially since Rex is with the 501st Legion and Alpha is an ARC who created Squad Seven. WILDEYE N-25 19:19, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Alpha joining the 212th?! You what?
Does anyone have any sources for this bit of knowledge:
'When Alpha escaped the fleeing Transport to the Republic he ended up being a Commander in the 212th Attack Battalion Clone Trooper Legion later in 19 BBY in the Battle of Utapau but didn't survive the conflict when he was shot in the shoulder and chest by a Assassin B1-Battle Droid soon Clone marshal commander Cody gave a medal to Alpha's grave on Kamino later in 18 BBY.'
If not, I'm going to get rid of it, and the associated images, as it's all kinda nasty.
I've tried cleaning it up a bit at the moment, but I've yet to see any established story that specifically places Alpha-17 at Utapau.

- Obviously, that information is fanon. I've removed it. QuiGonJinn
