Talk:Alpha-26
Back to page
where in the world did you get a name for him? He's not named in Hard Contact
- Then maybe it's in Triple Zero. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 22:45, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
still, its supposedly fanon (until someone can back it up), so shouldn't it be deleted or something like that? i thought thats what you did to fanon
- Only when someone proves it's fanon. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 02:00, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
- Maze is in RC:TZ, but I don't remember it saying he was the one from Hard Contact. -LtNOWIS 02:07, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
- It didn't, but Karen Traviss has confirmed that he is. Besides, we can assume he is, as he's assigned to General Zey in both books. Tam 18:36, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you for the confirmation. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 20:24, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
- Do you have a link to where Karen Traviss confirmed this? —Xwing328(Talk) 17:09, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

Name
Edit
I was thinking that this page should be Alpha-26 instead of just A-26. We already know that's what the "A" stands for, but all the other ARCs are listed "Alpha-??", not "A-??". I'd probably just do it myself except I'm not entirely sure I know how and would prefer not to mess up an otherwise great article.--Shadowxander 05:03, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
A-26 = Alpha-26
Edit
Like shadowxander brought up above, the article should be moved to Alpha-26 as it's his more official designation. In Dark Horse's Republic: The New Face of War comic, Anakin and ARC trooper Alpha have the following conversation:
- Anakin: "You need a name."
- Alpha: "No, I don't. I already have a designation."
- Anakin: "Really? What is it?"
- Alpha: "A-17."
- Anakin: "That makes you sound like a droid. What does the 'A' stand for?"
- Alpha: "Alpha. The code used for prototypes. We were all part of the Alpha batch."
Thus, A-26 is shown to be an abbreviation of the real Alpha-26 designation per the naming convention of ARC troopers. --Bella'Mia 06:22, November 19, 2009 (UTC)
Loyalty
Edit
I was wondering why it said that he was loyal to the galactic empire. When Order 66 came in he did not kill Zey and afterwards he abandoned the army with Zey to save him. I don't believe that it is any sources that he was loyal to the Empire. Starwarsspartan 16:43, May 18, 2012 (UTC)
