Talk:Ando system

Why is Ando Prime here? Is this a different Ando Prime than the article it links to? --Fade 21:58, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- IIRC, Ando and Ando Prime are two different planets, the former being home to the Aqualish and the second a snowy world that Bendu monks inhabited. --SparqMan 22:01, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- That's what I thought. Also, I think Ando Prime is one the Outer Rim, and it's apparently the first planet in its system. I'm going to remove it from here. Unfortunately, there's some additional confusion because the two Ando stars now link to the same page. --Fade 22:08, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- This WoC article says they're in the same system. --Imperialles 22:11, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Further evidence: CUSWE article --Imperialles 22:13, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Where is Malastare located? I always assumed all podracing planets were Outer Rim, but Malastare's location isn't in its article. Still, those sites might have made an assumption based off of the names. I wonder where the info in prime's article comes from (only planet and all that) --Fade 22:20, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Well, the WoC article is C-canon, so I'm re-adding Ando Prime. --Imperialles 22:21, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)

- *Shrug* I guess. What does the 'Prime' refer to, anyway? I've seen planets, stars and moons all with Prime in their name. --Fade 22:23, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Seems to be a crazy naming fad amongs EU authors... *shrug* --Imperialles 22:25, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Usually means the first of something, in this case a colony. -- Riffsyphon1024 22:33, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- It's often the first planet in the system -- maybe Aqualish are bad at math? Silly Dan 23:21, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- The use of "Prime" in a planet name is also used to refer to the primary inhabited planet in a system. --SparqMan 01:34, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- We would do the same once we started exploring extrasolar systems (maybe one day we'll found Alpha Prime). -- Riffsyphon1024 02:34, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)
