[edit] Title
Amidala is referred to as "Her Royal Highness" in TPM. One would assume the other queens get the same dignity. QuentinGeorge 01:12, 28 May 2005 (UTC)
- But do we, as a neutral source, recognize it? Certainly there are a number of other salutory titles that could be placed upon a number of individuals. It seems out of place for us to do so, however. --SparqMan 01:15, 28 May 2005 (UTC)
- Wikipedia use HRH and HM in their articles. It's no less neutral than using the title "General". HRH is the title that the queen is given. Any time Amidala is spoken to, the title is used. QuentinGeorge 01:26, 28 May 2005 (UTC)
- I disagree. The use of salutory titles like "His Imperial Majesty" or "Her Royal Highness" is used by those wishing to respect the individuals the titles are applied to. The Queen of Naboo is refered to as Her Royal Highness because that is what the throne chose to be refered to as. The use of the title "General" is akin to using the title "Queen". If the Emperor decided that his Grand Admirals would be prefaced by "His Martial Eminence", those calling on Thrawn is a social situation would call him "His Martial Eminence, Grand Admiral Thrawn", but as a neutral, removed IU source, it would be more appropriate for us to refer to him as "Grand Admiral Thrawn" -- but I don't mind it enough to remove it out. I actually just meant to spell it out. --SparqMan 02:13, 28 May 2005 (UTC)
- No, "Queen" is never used as a form of address, even in the real world. As I've pointed out above, wikipedia includes them in articles for real world monarchs and royalty, so I can't see why we shouldn't. Also, if we are going to spell it out, you'll have to change all the articles. QuentinGeorge 02:24, 28 May 2005 (UTC)
- Never mind. It appears that the Padme Amidala page is following this format. I'll fix it up so as to less offend the ridiculous "POV" issues that seem to have migrated from wikipedia over to here. QuentinGeorge 02:30, 28 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Married?
Where does this info come from? Apailana married and ended her term as Queen, but when she married her time was just about out. QuentinGeorge 00:51, 11 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Don't look at me, I just fixed the grammar assuming it was true. (Sources, anonymous people! Give us sources!) Silly Dan 01:21, 11 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- OK, it's been on there for several months. Is there a source for her marriage? It's not mentioned on the databank, which is the only source I'm aware of for an in-depth bio. Is it in some ROTS tie-in reference? Battlefront II documentation? — Silly Dan 15:27, 29 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- She's still Queen as of her death in Battlefront II, so she didn't end her term. Since there's no source for her marriage, I call fanon - Kwenn

[edit] Dead
Wow, Star Wars Battlefront II killed her off? Cool! Though kind of sad too :-( --Azizlight 02:05, 29 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Yeah. Poor gal. :( QuentinGeorge 02:38, 29 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- <Darth Vader>Nooooooooooooooooooo!</Darth Vader> — Silly Dan 15:27, 29 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- whait how do we know it was here. the Empire had time to rebuild its army from the Republic to the Empire. She would be out of office by then.--Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin 01:46, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
Yeah I own Star Wars Battlefront 2 and u kill her in Rise Of The Empire mode AKA campaign mode.Obiwan3000 16:16, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Name
Apailana's Databank entry mentions that Keisha Castle-Hughes portrayed 'Paikea "Pai" Apirana' in Whale Rider. That last name sounds a little familiar...would it be safe to assume this as a possible source of inspiration for her character's name in RotS? - Kwenn
- Yes. In fact, I think Pablo confirmed this. QuentinGeorge 00:08, 15 Jan 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Aftermath information
Where did the information on Imperial cover-ups regarding rebel clones come from? DarthMaul431 01:59, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Date of Death
Tasty Tate's confirmed it as 18 BBY - Kwenn 07:38, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
- Changed 'during her eight-year reign' to two years to correspond with that. —Unsigned comment by 58.165.251.241 (talk • contribs).
[edit] Fixed a couple minor grammatical errors
Because I can't stand them. Silversaber 00:14, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 13 or 14?
The articles for Apailana and Keisha Castle-Hughes contradict each-other. The Apailana page says she was thirteen when Keisha portrayed her, and Keisha's page says she was 14 when she portrayed Apailana. Which one's correct? --The Wolfe22 19:22, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Clone Wars information
With the most recent episode of the Clone Wars there is now a queen between Jamallia and Apailana. So should this paragraph just be deleted? "While Apailana served as the Princess of Theed in 20 BBY, Queen Jamillia began to side with the Separatists. In response, Apailana called for an election to install a new monarch. Senator Padmé Amidala convinced the young princess to run for queen herself and subsequently Apailana won the election." Xzylongann 17:55, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
