Talk:Arah asteroid belt

Back to page

While strictly speaking fanon speculation on my part, but I would like to hear comments on the following notes I took:

  • There is likely a star called Arah, if the belt was simply named for it's star like the Hoth Asteroid field
  • The belt itself has a structure, an outer, highly dense ring (the one littered with Derillium mines, a large gap (where the TIE Interceptors attacked Rascal squadron) and a way less dense inner belt (containing the ore processing facility).

Thoughts? --Challenger STA 20:44, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

  • Presumably, the Arah system is named for its star, but that's not always the case. Sometimes, certain areas named for people and spacers that charted them. Arah the being maybe? -- Riffsyphon1024 20:55, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
  • Possibly.. personally it makes little sense to name only an asteroid belt (of all things) after a being, so far all belts I know of in the EU are named for their stars (Vahaba, Anoat, Hoth.. exceptions like the Graveyard though).. but I can't add that in anyway as it is fanon with no solid foundation. :) --Challenger STA
