Incorrect spellingEdit

Shouldn't this be spelled in the American style, as Armored Assault Tank? Not that I mean to be US-centric, but it is a proper noun and that's how it's written at Star Wars Databank [1] Thoughts?-LtNOWIS 01:52, 26 May 2005 (UTC)

  • As discussed on the Spelling thread, if the spelling is a part of the proper noun, it the source should be referenced. In this case, the highest canon source uses the American spelling. --SparqMan 02:02, 26 May 2005 (UTC)
  • Moved on account of this. --Fade 14:34, 28 May 2005 (UTC)

Behind the Scenes info Edit

It states that the AAT was to appear in the first Battlefront as an Imperial vehicle, but was cut out, and that the code for this was still in the game at the time of it becoming available to the public. It says that there are modding sites on where you can download this and make the AAT an Imperial vehicle. What are these sites? I'd like to download it myself. Cmdr. J. • Thank you again, VT-16. You seem to have the answers to all my questions. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 19:32, 28 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Imperial AATs. Source please. Edit

I see someone put extra info about Imperial AAT tanks. Now, if this is simply extrapolated from the cut game-content I wrote about, then it's not canonical information, as it was cut. If you've found an official source describing Imperial use of this vehicle, please provide a source. Otherwise, it will be removed. Thank you. VT-16 18:42, 23 Dec 2005 (UTC)

  • I doubt that there is any other source for it. But if it's in the Behind the Scenes section, we could keep it there. Admiral J. Nebulax 19:47, 23 Dec 2005 (UTC)
    • I know, I put it there. But someone put it on the main article and in the Imperial Army article as well. VT-16 21:31, 23 Dec 2005 (UTC)
      • Then I find no reason why it should be there. Admiral J. Nebulax 21:58, 23 Dec 2005 (UTC)
        • I'll try to contact the author. If I don't get an answer by a few days, it's gone. VT-16 22:14, 23 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Speed Edit

The WotC RPG lists the max speed at 120km/h. Is the 55km/h from a more reliable source? -Dangerdan97 09:15, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

OOMs? Edit

The article states that the tank was piloted by OOMs. Now, if I remember correctly, the Episode I cross sections depict normal B1s as piloting it, and the OOMs commanding the tank, not piloting it.Unit 8311 08:11, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

ACTUALLY AAT tank drivers apparently drive these tanks, at the bottom of the B-1 battle droid article this is shown as a link, they're like B-1s but with dark green markings--70.253.91.208 20:17, February 6, 2010 (UTC)

Missile question Edit

The speculation should be deleted I think, unless there is a source where the possibility of carrying missiles is mentioned. Domlith 13:32, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Quote at the Top of Page Edit

I may be wrong, but wasn't it Captain Tarpals who said the quote at the top of the page?
Kgrimes2 04:07, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

  • Yes, it was, but it makes no particular difference who said it, as the quote remains only to show how AATs struck fear into the hearts of their opponets. Randombattledroid 22:23, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

Possible Quote Edit

I just want to leave this here if anyone wants to use it. Since many other vehicle descriptions use Rogue Squadron quotes, the following is the Battle for Naboo description of the AAT: "The AAT serves as the Trade Federation's front line assault vehicle. Designed to wipe out enemy troops, the AAT boasts a powerful laser cannon capable of punching through enemy ranks. A fearsome sight on any battlefield, the AAT is one of the Trade Federation's most formidable weapons." Captain Panaka|Star Wars: Battle for Naboo

Poggle the lessers AAT Edit

has any one noticeded that poggles AAT has no cannon on its turrret

Commander destruction Edit

Why does the article say that destroying the commander battle droid would cause the rest of the crew to cease functioning and the tank to drift out of control? Did this happen? The only thing I can think of is when Jar Jar accidentally destroyed the battle droid in the turret in TPM at one point but that droid wasn't a commander and its dead body probably fell on the turret turn button causing the turret to turn and the tank to tip (because it didn't press another button to stabilize the tank as the turret turned or something).OMEGATRON 08:51, October 25, 2010 (UTC)
