I have mostly summarized the SW Databank entry on Sing. I have not read the related stories and comics. If someone who has would like to come fix errors and fill in gaps, it would be appreciated.

Specific questions:

  • At what age was she brought into Jedi Training?
  • Were the Dark Woman and Tholme killed in the cave collapse?
  • What was the nature of the "fear projection" in her bio-comp? Did it cause fear in others?

Is it possible she is Rattataki? Chalk white skin, force sensitive, but no enlarged cranium like the Qiraash. The long fingers are a problem still, but Aqualish have subspecies with different hands. —Unsigned comment by 35.11.161.113 (talk • contribs).

        • I think we're not really meant to know her father's species, but rather be left with an allusion that he's some sort of vampire, given her long fingers, white skin, blood drinking, and long-lasting youth. Sort of reminds you of a cross between Nosferatu and a normal woman, which might've been the intention, even if we never learn what he was. --Sauron18 04:26, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

Perhaps she's part human part anzat? that would explain the skin's whiteish-gray hue, blood drinking.And anzat are long lived.

  • That's a thought. Could her father have been a hybrid himself? Like an Anzat-Nagai hybrid? When I read her description the first race I thought of was the Nagai.

  • We probably won't know for sure until there's a story where we found out exactly why Quinlan Vos was on Tattoine as well.
  • She was a Force Sensitive, she could probably since Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and young Anakin. Who knows she could have been working with Darth Maul to stalk them?

  • Aura's Fathers Race lived very, very long lives, the fact that she is almost 100 really means nothing to slowing her down.

[edit] Discrepancies

We seem to have some discrepancies as to her later activities. She was captured by Aayla in the Jedi:Aayla Secura comic. But was let out of the prison a few months later. Then "Some report that she resurfaced during the Galactic Civil War as a combatant in Jabba the Hutt's demolition contests." (from the databank). That's from a gameboy game so it can be somewhat ignored. Then there is her tales appearance. Now Tempest says that she was put in prison by Aayla, and has been in prison all of those years up until the Vong wars. This needs some sorting out. Lonnyd 06:08, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

  • The demolition contest is a Playstation and Dreamcast game, and was expanded on quite a lot in the Prima Game Guide for the game. I was looking around at some of the pics they have on the site here, and found some of Aurra Sings vehicles, from the Star Wars: Republic series of comics. I was wondering if everyone would be in agreement of adding them on here, since there are none in the article, so far.
