I have mostly summarized the SW Databank entry on Sing. I have not read the related stories and comics. If someone who has would like to come fix errors and fill in gaps, it would be appreciated.

Specific questions:

  • At what age was she brought into Jedi Training?
  • Were the Dark Woman and Tholme killed in the cave collapse?
  • What was the nature of the "fear projection" in her bio-comp? Did it cause fear in others?

--GenkiNeko 13:56, 16 May 2005 (UTC)

1 and 3 I have no idea but 2 the Dark Woman wasnt killed she is killed by Vader before the battle of yavin and Tholme was just injured read an article.-- 21:48, January 3, 2010 (UTC)

Is it possible she is Rattataki? Chalk white skin, force sensitive, but no enlarged cranium like the Qiraash. The long fingers are a problem still, but Aqualish have subspecies with different hands. Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

  • There are a few other races with white skin. Doesn't mean they're all Rattataki - Kwenn 20:27, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
    • I always got the impression that Rattataki had no hair. -- 09:10, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
      • Perhaps a Rattataki/human hybrid?Darth Ceratis 01:25, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
        • I think we're not really meant to know her father's species, but rather be left with an allusion that he's some sort of vampire, given her long fingers, white skin, blood drinking, and long-lasting youth. Sort of reminds you of a cross between Nosferatu and a normal woman, which might've been the intention, even if we never learn what he was. --Sauron18 04:26, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

Perhaps she's part human part anzat? that would explain the skin's whiteish-gray hue, blood drinking. And anzat are long lived.

  • That's a thought. Could her father have been a hybrid himself? Like an Anzat-Nagai hybrid? When I read her description the first race I thought of was the Nagai.

My best guess for her father's species is Pau'an. They are long-lived (up to 700 years). Certain physical characteristics match up. Sing's eye socket pigmentation, while off color-wise is similar to the eye socket pigmentation of the Pau'ans. If you look at pictures of the Pau'ans, their fingers are similarly bony and overlong (compared to human) like Sing's. Furthermore, Sing's requirement for consuming fresh blood from raw meat...Pau'ans are carnivores, and that dietary requirement could come from that. And Pau'ans are supposedly Near-Human, so presumably its within the realm of possibility for a Pau'an to have a child with Sing's Human mother. Just some thoughts. Xavic Kae 08:53, May 13, 2010 (UTC)

While Qiraashi traits might be less pronounced with a hybrid child, according to their page they are unable to naturally reproduce with Humans, only by genetic manipulation. This makes Aurra's father being Qiraash less probable, while not impossible. Going by physical traits and longevity, I'd agree that a Pau'an, or part-Pau'an, is most likely the species of her father. mcc1789 11:11, January 15, 2012 (MST)

What is the source for her being Sing's mother? Anyone? Bueller? Lonnyd 05:52, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

  • Emissaries to Malastare heavily implies it, and I believe it is confirmed in Aurra Sing's databank entry. QuentinGeorge 06:17, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
    • Wow, thanks. I've read emissaries to malastare a hundred times, and never made the connection. Stupid databank. Lonnyd 06:58, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

Aurra Sing is at the Boonta Eve Podrace. Does anyone know why? Mastermundi 14:28, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

  • Probrobly going to kick someones ass. Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).
  • There are Jedi there. She hunts Jedi. That's all I got.--Thorvindr 14:17, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
  • We probably won't know for sure until there's a story where we found out exactly why Quinlan Vos was on Tattoine as well.
  • She was a Force Sensitive, she could probably since Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and young Anakin. Who knows she could have been working with Darth Maul to stalk them?

Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs). Prob looking for Vos. 06:36, 5 March 2009 (UTC)User:Scrayer Wasn't there a ounty for one of the racers (Elan Mak AKA Kam Nale)--Eateroftheflame 15:36, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

  • I Agree That She Was There Hunting Vos, And I Remember An Interview With George Lucas Stating That He Knew She Would Become A Major Character. And That He Plans To Help A Comic Book Group (Whitch Names Escapes Me.) Tell The Story Of Why Shes There, And I Hope Quinlan Vos Aswell. Smansam

In EP2Edit

Am I right in remembering reading somewhere after ep1 that the character was originally to appear in episode 2? If so this should be in the BTS section. HavetStorm 16:47, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

Was she a former Padawan or failed youngling? Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

  • Former Padawan of the Dark Woman. Jaina SoloGoddess StuffJaina 19 (2) 19:56, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
    • Lucas doesn't like her being a Force User so I wonder how much will be retconed GMo >:M:< 13:35, October 19, 2010 (UTC)

Major edit neededEdit

This article needs a major edit about everything she did in the tempest novel. Someone who has read the book should do it as i dont have time right now. 00:23, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

  • Can't yet, the book isn't officially out for another 4 days. -- I need a name (Complain here) 13:27, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
  • She's ninety three and still hunting Jedi...and people look down on senior citizens. -- SFH 19:00, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
  • What the crap? her species must live to be prety old!

Quinlanfan 23:33, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

  • It's been what, 60 years since ROTS and she's still going at it? If she's some cross between a human and another human-related species then I don't think she can really live that long.... lalala_la
    • To lalala la, it's possible that her father was a member of a long-lived humanoid species, eh? Rodtheanimegod4ever 21:33, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
      • Is it really so hard to believe that she was 93? I mean look at Chewbacca he was like 150 or something Darth Platypuss
  • Aura's Fathers Race lived very, very long lives, the fact that she is almost 100 really means nothing to slowing her down.

We seem to have some discrepancies as to her later activities. She was captured by Aayla in the Jedi:Aayla Secura comic. But was let out of the prison a few months later. Then "Some report that she resurfaced during the Galactic Civil War as a combatant in Jabba the Hutt's demolition contests." (from the databank). That's from a gameboy game so it can be somewhat ignored. Then there is her tales appearance. Now Tempest says that she was put in prison by Aayla, and has been in prison all of those years up until the Vong wars. This needs some sorting out. Lonnyd 06:08, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

  • The demolition contest is a Playstation and Dreamcast game, and was expanded on quite a lot in the Prima Game Guide for the game. It's not got any non-canon tags on it, nor has it ever been stated to be non-canon, so now...we won't be ignoring it. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 12:48, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
    • All great points. The article AND her official story still need sorting out though. Lonnyd 02:15, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

spoiler no moreEdit

Shouldn't the spoiler tag be removed? Tempest is months old -Milo Fett[Comlink] 03:07, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

the spoiler tag shoud be removed

Vehicles used by SingEdit

I was looking around at some of the pics they have on the site here, and found some of Aurra Sings vehicles, from the Star Wars: Republic series of comics. I was wondering if everyone would be in agreement of adding them on here, since there are none in the article, so far.

These are the pics I'm referring to.

There are better pics of her Swoop Bike, but these are the only ones I've ever seen of her ship and starfighter. Sadriel Fett (Mando'a) 00:18, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Breif Problem in the 1st SentanceEdit

sorry, I'm new here... but, In the 1st sentance it says "is a FORMER FEMALE Padawan...", I mean, a lot of people will obviously just ignore this, but it makes it sound sa is she were no longer female... Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

  • it says she was once a female Padawan. you have a point, but no-one would be thick enough to think that. AdmirableAckbar 16:52, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

Just thought this was worth pointing out. How does a former padawan know who her mother is?--Thorvindr 14:21, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Do you think that Aurra would die at the hands of Darth Krayt? I mean, come on. She did kill his father, so she might deserve it. - Will Karner 2:39 P.M, 10 November 2007

  • I was thinking the same thing!JediBob 21:04, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

When? I wonder.SargeLIVES 00:56, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Nah she blows up on florrum when ahsoka tano chops one of the wings of slave 1 off. Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

no she does not. she is still around during the new republic (look at her article, near the bottom), and anyway, according to the trailer for season three, she is not dead. Ralphjedimaster 00:32, August 19, 2010 (UTC)

More Pics neededEdit

I was thinking that we should have some more pics of her in here. Does anybody have any pics of her from the Star Wars: Outlander comics?JediBob 22:20, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Forgotten Edit

so the legacy writers just forgot her in the Anakin Solo?Meesa yoda 15:32, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Infobox Image Edit

Why are we using artistic representation of a movie character who has enough promotional close-ups? What's wrong with the old File:Aurrahead.jpg? Mauser 17:57, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Rhen-Orm biocomputer and antenna Edit

Here are some additional info on the Aurra's biocomputer that might be useful for this article:

  • Also her mother seems to have an antenna too. Bodo-Baas 21:55, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

Events in Streets of Shadows/reimprisonment Edit Does this count enough to change the article from her being imprisoned again to basically what it says here? I am unsure. Twinsuns1 02:07, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Activity TimeEdit

According to this, Aurra had been active for a long time prior to 36bbym(since she had to have training and all- I amended the date on the page

Aurra Sing's father's nameEdit

What's Aurra Sing's father's name? Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

Sloppy Ass Writing Edit

Someone needs to fix the flowing narrative form that is so commonly used in these Wookiepedia entries. It is highly annoying and very, very sloppy. Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

Why does it list Ki-Adi-Mundi as one of Aurra Sing's masters? I checked Outlander, and in it Ki-Adi-Mundi calls Aurra "A student of my friend", not "my student." --DarthEinstein 03:19, July 29, 2010 (UTC)

Height Edit

The Databank lists her height as 1.74 meters while her Clone Card lists her height as 1.85 meters. Don't think it should be changed unless they update the DB but I figured I'd bring it up. Agent Cards 08:17, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Fate Edit

As the Star Destroyer Anakin Solo was badly damaged during the Battle of Shedu Maad and abandoned, should it be mentioned in the article that her fate is left unknown?--Shadow34 23:42, March 2, 2011 (UTC)

Sing's Species Edit

While she is part Human, it is possible that she is part Ubese, because the Ubese have pale skin similar to Aurra Sing's. Don't think she is part Rattataki though, Rattataki have no hair. 00:55, August 4, 2011 (UTC)

Senate Hostages Section Edit

Section 1.3.5 is incorrectly placed. Those events take place prior to 1.3.3: Joining Boba Fett. The Senate Hostages episode, "Hostage Crisis" is the finale of Season 1, while the 3 episodes detailing Aurra Sing's time with Boba Fett described in section 1.3.3 close out Season 2 (just finished watching them, as it happens).--Taellosse 16:55, September 3, 2011 (UTC)Taellosse

  • It was arranged that way per the episode guide for "Assassin," which states that the Season Two finale takes place chronologically earlier than the Season One finale. It's confusing, but it's canon. CC7567 (talk) 20:06, September 3, 2011 (UTC)

Birth date Edit

I don't have Star Wars: The Clone Wars Magazine 1 where is acc. this article sourced Aurra was born c. 51 BBY. However that contradicts with what I'm reading in Legacy of the Force: Tempest novel where C-3PO said: "Aurra was 9 y.o. when captured by pirates more then 75 years ago" (meaning more than 35 BBY since Tempest is in 40 ABY timeline). So her birthdate should be c. 44 BBY and not 51 BBY. That's according records captured on Chu'unthor by Luke Skywalker.--Jedi Marty (talk) 23:51, January 8, 2013 (UTC)
