[edit] Dark Empire and Dark Empire II?

  • Where's the source for Avenger being in these two comics? Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 00:06, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
    • Okay, since a source hasn't been provided, I'm removing it from the article. Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 01:03, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
      • I'm a little late to the party, but the Avenger is identified as one of the ships around Balmorra on the first page of Dark Empire II #1. - RolonBolon 00:32, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Was Avenger one of the two Star Destroyers that collided in ESB?

Supposing the damage was significant it would render the Avenger out of the fight. However one of the three Star Destroyers in pursuit, quickly pulls out of formation and avoids collision. That would make sense for why the Avenger was closely pursuing the Falcon, while the other ships were still getting their act together. Unsigned comment by 65.95.129.90 (talk • contribs).

[edit] Adding a "Two Conflicting" tag

Can a "Two conflicting" tag be applied to this and Razor, given the conflicting information presented in "Rogue Leader" and "X-wing Alliance" regarding the fate of both ships? TIEPilot051999 23:52, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Behind the scenes

shouldn't it be noted that Avenger was in both Ep 5 and 6 and last time i checked that there were not any others that had been. Unsigned comment by Imperial Eyebrows (talk • contribs).

[edit] Avenger

Wait, in Rogue Leader, during the mission "Razor Rendezvous" the Rebels, led by Wedge Antilles, with the Redemption send one Star Destroyer to Kothlis. There is only one Star Destroyer present, so if it captured the Razor, it must have been the Avenger, yet it was destroyed during that battle.

[edit] Star Trek's Avenger

"Star Trek's ISS Avenger was named as an homage to the Avenger."

This Star Trek ship was originally authored by Mike Sussman, who goes by the Encyclopedia of Speculative Fiction username Mdsussman. This username identity was verified and Sussman was the one who contributed his own "homage" statement. Additional discussion appears on the Star Trek wikia. JoelBray 16:55, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
