Talk:BFF-1 bulk freighter
Back to page
- The X-wing tech room gives a different manufacturer (Phylon Freight) to that given in subsequent games (Damorian Manufacturing Corporation).--Dengar Antilles 09:59, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
- Anyone agreeing making a separate category for those craft? Of course they are less significant than the YTs, but they are much more numerous. MoffRebus 10:36, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
- Somebody else needs to check this, but I'm fairly sure that the BBF-1 type features in yet another video game: If memory serves me right, Kyle Katarn hides aboard such a ship in Dark Forces in order to sneak aboard either the Executor or the Arc Hammer (cutscene, and the freighter is also seen from a window early on in the level after leaving it). - (Belatedly) agreed, though there is no cutscene depicting it. The end of the Fuel Station Ergo level and the beginning of the Executor level both depict a distinctive floorplan that matches the BFF-1, and the latter level does give you a view of the outside of the ship that's a dead ringer. Adding to appearances. Dangerdan97 18:37, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

List of ships
Edit
Could we probably cut down on the list, reformat it or put it into an entirely different article? In my opinion it blows up the page into death star like proportions.. and we all know what waste of resources that one was ;) --Challenger STA 15:14, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
Is it possible to format it like a table? Dengar Antilles 17:58, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
5.2 Factual correction
Edit
XTS class-a cargo containers aren't just too long to be employed on the BFF-1 - they're also too wide, at least according to the dimensions in their listing here on Wookieepedia (which are presumably taken from X-wing Alliance). Two 38 metre wide cargo pods (left and right), plus central section doesn't add up to a 75 metre wide freighter... Delta source 17:45, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- Just to clarify, as the containers are mounted sideways, it's the height/depth (21.36m) that needs to be taken into consideration, not the width. Dangerdan97 18:31, November 11, 2009 (UTC)
Annother behind the scenes possibility.
Edit
In the U.S. airforce BFF is an unofficial acronym for the B-52 it stands for Big-Fat-... you can figure the last word out. I am going to mention that because of the similarities in scale. Feel free to reverse If you find my reasoning insufficient.SargeLIVES 01:29, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
Um, its Buff which stands for Big Ugly Flying F... I think this behind the scenes portion should be removed. --155.31.166.115 22:17, April 15, 2010 (UTC)

- Well I am going senile or it rendered wrong on my browser. Duly noted. -- Frank V Bonura 13:09, February 22, 2010 (UTC)
