Chiss bartender Edit

No! I have Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy on the XBox console and I've played it several times. The Chiss bartender does not exist in Nar Kreeta (XBox version). Only the PC version includes the chiss bartender in Nar Kreeta and remember that when you are attacking the chiss he doesn't give a voice and that's the same if you type npc spawn lando (f.Ex.) in your console. The Jedi Outcast characters do not leave a voice in Jedi Academy Singleplayermode if you spawn them. So it would be better to clear the chiss bartender in Nar Kreeta. LucasArts has saved a cheat into the PC Jedi Academy game. Remember that.

Red-Eye Baldarek Edit

It has yet to be canonically established if this bartender and ole Redeye are one and the same. Untill then, please curb your conjecture and refrain from merging the articles. KEJ 13:08, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

Who is ole Redeye? Düdämän 14:43, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
Red-Eye Baldarek <-- That's Baldarek. KEJ 16:22, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
About the Chiss bartender: Well, that's unacceptable to say that he also joins JK Jedi Academy because he really doesn't appear on the XBox version of Jedi Knight Jedi Academy. Düdämän 17:56, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
He appears in the PC-version. Since it is not decided which is the more canonical version of the PC version or the X-box version, I'd say this entire discussion is quite futile. It is just as 'unfair' to state that he doesn't appear in the game from the point of view of PC-players. The only thing to do is to specify that he appears in the PC-version of the game, which I have just done. KEJ 23:04, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
Well, the chiss bartender on Nar Kreeta does not give a shout when I'm trying to shoot him. JK Jedi Academy also has the possibility to spawn JK II Jedi Outcast-characters and they also don't give a voice when I kill them. So the chiss bartender is originally from JK II Jedi Outcast. They just saved a cheat into the PC-version from JK Jedi Academy to spawn that bartender on Nar Kreeta. Düdämän 16:08, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Well, whther it's a saved cheat of not, he DOES appear in the PC-version regardless. What would be interesting to know is whether his appearance in the PC-game is canonical or not. Mysteriously, a blog was created recently that discusses the Chiss bartender here. KEJ 16:29, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for your link. Well, I'm a little bit unsatisfied that they have added the same bartender from Nar Shaddaa to Nar Kreeta on the PC-version. That bartender from Nar Shaddaa has had bad grammer and whenever he speaks it sounds very funny. As I mentioned, to add his same skin to Nar Kreeta again is not a good idea if you want to hear my oppinion. Düdämän 16:11, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
Well, I asked Leland on his blog which vresion is canonical, and his answer was the both versions of the game are canonical, but if there are disrepancies, they would stick to the platform it came out on first. Since the PC-version came out a couple of months before the Xbox version, his appearance in Nar Kreeta must be canonical. KEJ 22:27, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Cory confirmed that his intent was for the bartender and Red-Eye to be the same. Read the letter here. Quite interesting, and I think that should be enough proof to merge them. At least with a spec tag anyhow. :-P Cull Tremayne 23:51, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
    • Until something pops up that contradicts this then, yeah, they should be merged. KEJ 07:02, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

Is there any proof Red-Eye Baldarek is the Chiss bartender from Jedi Outcast? If there's no proof, please change the article back to how it was. --Azizlight 23:20, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

  • I've reverted the speculation, and it will remain like that until actual proof is given. --Azizlight 09:33, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

Well, in my opinion, the story about that Chiss bartender working on Nar Kreeta after the death of his employer is nonsense because also in Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, it is possible to kill the Chiss bartender. And the bartender won't appear in the XBox-version of this game. Lieutenant Grenn 15:21, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

  • No, he just has a peculiar way of speaking. jSarek 11:46, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
