MorrowindEdit

IS this a kind of in joke for Morrowind players? Unsigned comment by 62.56.58.84 (talk • contribs).

  • I doubt it, but every time I see the name that's exactly what my mind goes to. 75.72.77.246 05:45, July 18, 2010 (UTC) DuGray

CIS InvolvementEdit

It says that it was affiliated with the CIS at one point, but how is this possible when production of battle droids was halted ~33 BBY - ten years before the CIS's first 'appearance'. Also, it was the producer of some of the Old Republic/New Order's walkers during and after the Clone Wars, so how could they have been aligned with the CIS (they're so close to Kuat and other Core worlds too). 84.84.207.58 20:40, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

The Old RepublicEdit

http://www.swtor.com/info/holonet/planets/balmorra, Bioware have released More info and screenies on Balmorra's involvement in the upcoming MMO Adamqd 17:26, October 16, 2009 (UTC)

  • The Aurebesh on the page says "Manufacturing Planet", "Balmorra location" (with a marker pointing to the planet's location) "Days per year 334" or 554 (hard to see), "hours per day 47", "moons 4". The system map says "Planetary system", shows Balmorra as the closest orbit to the sun of the system, below the system map it says "Balmorra days" and "Standard days" "hours" each followed with a constantly counting number. I can't see the text on the far left side clear enough to read but being that the top says "Welcome to the Holonet" perhaps it doesn't relate specifically to Balmorra, I'll keep trying to make it out. --Kathkira talk 22:59, October 17, 2009 (UTC)

Balmorra Run Is Nowhere Near Balmorra Edit

Took that part out. See the Essential Atlas for the location of Kaliida Shoals, and for the reference (p. 121) that the Run is so named because of its popularity among Balmorran spacers. Jasonfry 02:12, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

What Morrowing got to do with this? Edit

I'm not guite sure what that information about Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind does in the article. The first Star Wars appearance for Balmorra was something like 10 years before the publication of the Morrowind game. Is it relevant to the article if there is no proof that city in Morrowind was named after this SW planet?--Dionne Jinn (Something to say?) 20:09, January 3, 2011 (UTC)

But maybe we could put that info in here. I don't know if the game designers intented it to be a reference, but it could be seen as one.--Dionne Jinn (Something to say?) 11:45, January 5, 2011 (UTC)

Doomed? Really?Edit

Does this article really deserve the {{Doom}} tag? It's topic is not really essential, and it's not in need of major work when compared to other articles with this tag. MasterFredCommerce Guild.svg(Whatever) 18:24, January 4, 2012 (UTC)

It's one of the TOR planets (that takes forever to finish) and the page is a little sparse. DigiFluid 18:29, January 4, 2012 (UTC)
