i changed the outcome of the battle because if a third of the population of mandalore (1.5 million) is lost the vong should be the victors presumably

Yeah, at the end of the day, it boils down to this: The Vong failed in their objective (wiping out the Mandalorians, or at least those present on Mandalore), while the Mandalorians succeeded at theirs (prevent this from happening). That pretty well qualifies as a Mandalorian victory, although I do have to agree that it'd probably be considered a pyrrhic one. SpartHawg948 10:51, September 16, 2009 (UTC)

Indeed, just as during the Battle of the Coral Sea the Americans lost a fleet carrier and the Japanese only lost a light carrier and a tanker. On paper, the Japanese "won". However, it's generally accepted as an allied victory because the Japanese objective of invading Port Moresby was prevented. - Slagass 02:48, November 4, 2009 (UTC)

Conflicting canonEdit

I've added the Clone Wars thing because of the way Mandalore is portrayed in the series, while the Yuuzhan Vong attack is said to have 'leveled trees and poisoned farmland'. Urm?
