None of the articles explicitly state Cronal dies (only that his force were "defeated"), did he? Xanofar 04:42, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

  • Given the book's hazy status (it IS a fictionalized account of real events, even IN-universe), and the fact that, in the end bit, Luke mentions that Nick believes Cronal survived, AND the fact that Kar Vastor seems to have been killed in the book's account, but similarly, according to Luke, survived the real version of events... I don't think we should take Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor TOO literally.     • Finally finished the book... well, it seems like the version we got was the rewritten version they were discussing in the after-story bit. So, I'd say it's closer than the version Luke was referring to (there's no Luke/Aeona romance, there's no Luke vs. Kar Vastor fight, for example). Still, Luke seems willing to believe Nick, Aeona, and Kar about Cronal possibly surviving. and that HAS to say SOMEthing. 76.234.144.56 20:13, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
