Could those Techno Union foremen have used some sort of Sith Alchemy to alter those Nelvaanians? The mutants partially resemble the Massassi of the Sith Empire and the reborn Emperor Palpatine's Chrysalides. Count Dooku - leader of the Confederacy of Independent Systems - himself was a Sith Lord. So he probably knew about it. He may also have used it to alter General Grievous into who he is as seen in the Star Wars Visionaries story The Eyes of Revolution. 222.152.165.44
