Guys, this article is...a disgrace. Bilbringi is one of those places that is featured in multiple novels and in at least two sourcebooks (Last Command and Thrawn Trilogy Sourcebook) and a freaking Essential Guide (Planets and Moons). There should be a lot more detail in this article.--Sharkey 23:35, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Does this planet even exist?

  • The Essential Guide to Planets and Moons seems to indicate that the Bilbringi shipyards centered around Bilbringi VII, one of the largest asteroids of the system, and doesn't mention any planets. Like the Oseon system, it would appear that the whole system is just asteroids. If that were the case, than this should probably be a redirect to Bilbringi system. -LtNOWIS 20:24, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
  • Lost a planet we have. How embarrassing. Enochf 20:42, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
  • Checked The Last Command. The novel doesn't have any references to the planet, and the comic has the system empty except for a few huge space stations. -LtNOWIS 00:38, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
  • Most Google sources acknowledge the Bilbringi system is a rocky, lifeless system with mineral-rich asteroids. Got colonized, population grew around mining and shipbuilding. Yeah, Bilbringi VII is probably what most sources are talking about when they say "planet" Bilbringi. I found a link[1] that indicates that (by New Republic times anyway) Bilbringi (the system? or B. VII?) had a senator--which is confusing because I thought the Imperial Remnant controlled it, but anyway. Enochf 00:58, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
  • Is anything mentioned about it in X-wing: Isard's Revenge when Isard's shuttle approaches Lusankya at the shipyards? Atarumaster88 01:55, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

The Last Command only mentions the Shipyards, not any planets. By what we've found on SWD, Bilbringi is just an asteroid and orbital platforms.

  • Shouldn't we merge this with Bilbringi VII (the # acc. to EGPM)JustinGann 05:15, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit] New vehicle/beacon/guiding lights?

Finally, found something that Wookieepedia hasn't identified yet... (that's a compliment)

Anyone have any idea what these are?
