Questions
Edit
Our other articles are saying that the Bith joined the Confederacy, but the only reference I could find (this story in HoloNet News Vol. 531 49) claims they were trying to remain neutral. Also, is the 300 BBY date for the Nozho-Woegar War explicitly stated, or just a guess? — Silly Dan 21:43, 11 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Dunno about the war, but the Fact Files Clone Wars map indicates that Clak'dor VII was a member of the Confederacy. jSarek 21:52, 11 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Could be that Senator F'ass was none commital in his personal loyalties on whether or not secession was a good idea. Giddeon Dannu was pro-diplomacy but the Kuati were definantly pro-war. -- SFH 21:53, 11 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- The date for the war is given by The Essential Guide to Alien Species. — Silly Dan 02:57, 10 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Bith Jedi
Edit
There was also a Bith Jedi in Episode II. http://www.angelfire.com/scifi/swfigs2/bithjedi.html In the picture, he's to the far far right, talking to Aayla.
Pretty weak evidence. --Jaguartalon 05:14, December 15, 2011 (UTC)
Pre-devastation
Edit
If the Nozho-Weogar War was 300 BBY, that means that the homeworld, Clak'Dor VII, was still relatively unharmed, except maybe a little pollution, as of the KOTOR series & most of the Old Republic era. Any glimpses of pre-disaster Clak'Dor? And would the Bith of that era be more warlike? I know Bith show up in KOTOR 1&2, but they're the same techs & musicians as the rest of the EU. Green Biths?
Edit
In Jango Fett: Open Seasons, when the pirates break into the slave ship, a green Bith is seen after Jango kills a slaver. Should we add green to skin color? Taktwo(Holonet News)20px 09:56, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
Craniopods?
Edit
Surely, the term craniopod means a creature that uses its head (cranium) as a foot (podium). Is this really applicable to the Bith? --Kittybriton 64.9.120.91 21:29, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
- You'd think so, but I guess not. Bith are craniopods, but don't ask me what that means...—Silly Dan (talk) 21:48, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
- I concur with Kittybriton. The word is very similar to "cephalopod", head-foot, the taxonomic family of the chambered nautilus. "Hypercephalic" would make more sense. Use of craniopod to describe a species supposedly came from the Extended Starwars universe; anyone know where? Rstinejr 15:48, April 9, 2011 (UTC)
- Likely the West End Games RPG from the 80s and 90s. Qwo 08:58, April 12, 2011 (UTC)
Breathed through skin?
Edit
I was under the impression that Bith respirated largely through their skin, which helped them hold long notes on an instrument. I'm almost certain I didn't imagine this, but it's not mentioned here and I'm not sure what source it's from. Can anyone validate this? Qwo 06:25, April 29, 2010 (UTC)
- It seems, at the very least, that Bith exhaled through their skin. I can't find information on whether or not they can inhale that way, too. Qwo 06:48, April 29, 2010 (UTC)
