Infinities ImageEdit

Infinities comics are explicitly non-canon, so the image probably doesn't help, especially since we know he'll look liked Jango, not bizzare looking fellow. --SparqMan 13:13, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)

  • Why don't you actually read the section it's in? It talks about the comic the picture comes from, and what he may look like unmasked. And he's not a "bizarre" looking fellow. It's the same face as Jango (albeit a bit thinner, and scarred) QuentinGeorge 13:24, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
    • I did read the section the image appears in, and it does not talk about the comic it came from (or note its explicit non-canon status). The face drawn in that comic has a significantly wider nose, different eye shape and brow structure, amongst other differences. Keep the image, but carefully explain that it is not a canon image of "Boba Fett unmasked". --SparqMan 14:12, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
      • A genetic clone need not look exactly like its progenitor. Genetics is but one part of development, nutrition and lifestyle also affect the way a person's appearance develops. Perhaps Boba was in an accident, and was forced to have reconstructive surgery, altering his appearance slightly. Besides, this image does not contridict with any other canon sources, so the point is somewhat moot.--Eion 16:06, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)

"Clone-voice"?Edit

the reasoning being that as a clone of Jango, Boba should sound like him as well.

What the hell is this? Where does it state that clones must sound like their source? If anything, Boba would sound like Jango because he´s been raised by him, not because he´s his clone. VT-16 22:53, 1 Jul 2005 (UTC)

    • Identical twins (ie, real-life clones) sound similar, but not the same. Accent, for example, is learned, not inherited. QuentinGeorge 22:57, 1 Jul 2005 (UTC)
      • The clones of Republic Commando all have different voices, with only Boss having adopted Jango's Concord Dawn accent. And yes, it's perfectly rational to have clones with different speech patterns - Kwenn

New info for those who don't knowEdit

In Insider #80 there was a Mandalorian history article. In the article we learn that Fenn Shysa is the leader of the Mandalorians, who never died in the first place, and who were very much alive even during the Clone Wars. In fact 212 faught for the Confederacy. So whoever is editing this information I suggest you stop concidering the info is valid, and from an offical source. What Boba Fett DID NOT do was go to Concord Dawn and gather Mandalorians.

  • And I suggest you stop deleting whole paragraphs of the article. You keep deleting tha Ailyn Vel information, for example, which has nothing to do with what you are talking about. And please sign your posts. QuentinGeorge 01:07, 3 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Wookie or Jedi?Edit

I thought those braids on his armour were from his time as a Jedi hunter, not wookie scalps. Is there a EU reference that can verify what these braids are?

Placement of Battlefront II MissionEdit

OK, I'm kinda confused on where to mention Fett's involvement in the whole Kamino mission mention on the Official Site preview of Battlefront II. It says that it happened "20 years after the clones creation". Now what exactly does that mean? 20 years after the creation of the whole army? (because that would make it 12 BBY) or the creation of the 501st? (which would make it 0 BBY?) As it appears likely that this one will end up being the feature article this week, I kinda think it's important to get the facts straight, not to mention the fact that it'll affect the 501st and Kamino entries.TIEPilot051999 17:54, 28 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Can't remember which book, but..Edit

I distinctivly remember Boba Fett telling Han that hunting him wasn't 'personal' at all, and it is a direct contradiction to this article and how it states quite often Fett has a grudge against Solo. -Arono

Just found it in The Unifying Force, page 162 of the hardcover:

    "Incoming transmision," Leia said. "From the Firespray."
    Boba Fett's voice crackled through the comm. "Just wanted to remind you, Solo, that my personal fight was always with the Jedi. You were nothing more than cargo."
    Han snorted. "For what it's worth, Fett, you were never more than a nuisance."
    Fett laughed shortly. "To better days, Captain."
    "Count on it."

Why is Boba's main pic look like a fan in a costume?

Fett's EndEdit

What happend to Boba Fett, in the book "Star Wars, The New Essential Guide to Characters", it said Fett had not been seen after the Yuuzhan Vong Invadsion, and nobody knew if he was dead or alive. Double D 01:04, 13 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Mandolorian or Human?Edit

Should we place Boba's species as Mandalorian or leave it as human, i know his father was adopted into the Mandalorian Army but he is effectively a Mandalorian, isn't he!?! Jasca Ducato 19:27, 27 Dec 2005 (UTC)

          • I don't think any of the ones shown should be put in. In The Mandalorian Armor, it said that much of Boba's armor was burned away from the inside of the sarlacc, and that he was near death.           • Ok, done. Might want to skim it real quick in case I missed any errors. I added the jetpack image so it would be more clear. Also, in the gauntlet section: "Kelvarex consolidated arms MM9 Mini concussion rocket which utilized computer target tracking. Fett uses Type-12 A anti-personnel rockets, type 12B stun rockets and Merr Soww 1126 rockets." I wasn't sure about that last rocket name. It was hard to read on the image but I think I have it right.                 • Sorry for all the typos. I should have proofread it better. Someone removed some information on Fett's jetpack but I put it back in. The image was done by the author of The New Essential Guide to Characters so I would say this is a reasonable source and all the information belongs here. Also, do we really need to link to all those rocket tyes? I really don't see us getting more information on then at any point. So it's just one red link after another.
