How can something be canine and feline?--Eion 10:41, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Good question. It could have features of both? I think canine is what we're looking for.
I think it means they could be canine or feline Master Halcyon
- I really think they are both, feline, canine, and equine. If you look at them closely they have all the features that the animals mentioned have. Why don't you believe it?--Endor chicken

Copyvio
Edit
I'm reworking this while article, but the information posted by 222.152.186.81 was pure copyvio from CUSWE and other online sources. --SparqMan 17:05, 15 May 2005 (UTC)
Main pic
Edit
Does anyone else think that main pic is waaay to small to see anything? Cutch 05:45, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
quotes
Edit
New quote, please. This one isn't talking about the Bothans in whole.--Vladius Magnum(Clan Magnum)20px
Females?
Edit
For a species with so many members, I'm somewhat surprised that just about all the ones I can think of are males. Strange.--LightWarden 00:02, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

How about Kolir Hu'lya if we ever get a pic Rieck 23:26, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
- There are female Bothans in one of the Rogue Squadron comics. Interestingly, two f the rogues apparently have sex with them. So thee seems to be a recurring theme of humans having intercourse with Bothans, as with Gavin Darklighter. Shouldn't this be mentioned? Why are Bothans more than most alien species involved in interspecies relationsips with humans? Jawajuice 18:46, February 25, 2010 (UTC)
- Two examples does not a statistic make. You should rather ask, "Why does Mike Stackpole depict Bothans more than most alien species involved in interspecies relationships with humans?" ~ SavageBob 00:33, February 26, 2010 (UTC)

Resemblance
Edit
Has anyone seen,or can they cite the article that describes the appearnace of Bothans? There is mention of them ranging from Canine to feline to equine, thought that picture of Borsk Fey'lya looks to be at least vaguely ovine.
Star Wars: Republic???
Edit
- In the comic SW Republic it shows a bothan running through the halls of Kamino. I belive it was the Defense of Kamino. It just seemed kind of random. You only see him in one strip. What's his name and what's his deal?Grand Admiral Nick Vos [Holonet]
- Sorry! I did some more research on it and found that it was: Unnamed Shistavanen Jedi
. I still say he looks like a bothan!Grand Admiral Nick Vos [Holonet]
Bothan Jedi
Edit
Is there any record of any notable Bothan Jedi or other Force-sensitive Bothans? I've seen no source that specifically doubts the Bothans' Force potential, but neither have I seen any that confirm it. 66.61.34.124 07:02, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- There appears to be a Bothan Jedi in the upcoming Star Wars Legacy 26. -- I need a name (Complain here) 12:46, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- There's Master Kai Hudorra who surived the clone wars and at least the beginning of the purge... I'd consider him as being notable. He was in the Star Wars Republic: Into the Unknown story arc. Ironic_smurf 14:55, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed. This particular Jedi can actually be playable in one of the Star Wars Battlefront expansions, on an ice planet called Tulpa, correct me if I'm wrong or to add more info. "Uber_bonker" 22:05, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
- Yaqueel Sav'Atu, Kolir Hul'ya, and the upcoming jedi is Hosk Tre'lis i think my spelling is off but its proven now that they are. ie Outcast, Omen, Abyss. --JediShifty 02:19, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Bothans & the Republic c. 12,000 BBY
Edit
The article states that Bothans joined the Republic prior to 4,000 BBY. Apparently, it must have been prior to 12,000 BBY, since a Bothan named Pers'lya was Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic c. 12,000 BBY. (Also see Pius Dea Era.) Jaywin 00:59, November 27, 2009 (UTC)
Infamous?
Edit
I know this may be a newbie question, but why exactly is the mention of the Bothans in the movie "infamous"? -- SaganamiFan 05:01, June 17, 2010 (UTC)
- I was just wondering that. --189.247.139.211 01:55, July 24, 2010 (UTC)
- It is infamous for being the only official mentioning of the bothans in any of the movies, and left people wondering just what a bothan WAS, until the early 90's when Timothy Zahn wrote Heir to the Empire, the first appearance and description of a bothan. Kjølen 01:36, January 27, 2011 (UTC)
Mood sensitive fur
Edit
It says that Bothan fur is mood sensitive but doesn't elaborate on this at all. Can somebody tell me exactly what this means?
According to Republic Medical[1], "Bothan fur ripples in different ways based on their mood, offering helpful hints to medical staff familiar with the species." So, sounds kinda like the fur of cats or dogs, who will ruffle up the fur along their back when upset and puff up their tails when scared and the like? —CaligulaVerus 07:30, December 10, 2010 (UTC)
