Page Name
Edit
Shouldn't the article name be changed to "Brain Worm"? After all, that's what they're called in the episode guide on starwars.com. --Darth shohet 03:31, November 21, 2009 (UTC)
- The episode guide for "Legacy of Terror" confirms that the name is "Brain worm." JangFett (Talk) 22:06, November 21, 2009 (UTC)
Notes section?
Edit
Should there be a note that mentions the Goa'uld from Stargate? because the brain worms remind me a LOT about them. —Unsigned comment by 69.133.112.84 (talk • contribs).
- Wookieepedia is not for tying Star Wars subjects to every possible inspiration unless one is confirmed. CC7567 (talk) 02:34, January 14, 2010 (UTC)
- Otherwise you'd also be including Trill symbionts and Alpha Centauri mindworms too. XD. —Unsigned comment by Calmaen vor Lalimar (talk • contribs).
I dunno, we shouldn't put it there just because of a similarity, after all, a parasitic worm? thats actually a bitof a cliche, they're everywhere on earth, and they're everywhere in science fiction. Tristan7grunt 15:58, July 14, 2011 (UTC)tristan7grunt
"Child"
Edit
Why did Karina refer to them as her 'children'? Did she breed them, create them, or what was the purpose of that statement? --Mateo22

Sentience?
Edit
Were these things sentient? If they controlled characters' minds, then did the characters act on instinct or did they still talk and use complex thoughts (controlled by the worms)?--Darthrai 16:16, January 22, 2010 (UTC)
- This point is debatable; while they were able to "think" through their hosts and work in series, it may have just been due to their hosts' abilities, not from the worms' intelligence itself, per say. It's safer to assume non-sentience for now until it's confirmed. CC7567 (talk) 20:47, January 22, 2010 (UTC)
- They were sapient, (but then again, all creatures are) so, yes, when those clones were infected, they spoke to each other, the language they spoke? geonosian. so, these worms could speak, they could also fool jedi, speak basic, and were smart enough to kill the pilots of a ship so that they could stay on course and head to a resupply station andinfect everyone there. so, with all this evidence, yes, they were sentient, and we should add this info to the article. - Ignoring the fact that this talk message is past a year old, CC is correct. That should be the end of this discussion. JangFett (Talk) 15:53, July 14, 2011 (UTC)
- What I wrote wasn't for the person who started this topic, it was for future people to read it and think, Perhaps this makes sense. Tristan7grunt 16:02, July 14, 2011 (UTC)tristan7grunt

insect category
Edit
i don't think they should be in the insects category since theyre -worms-... Asdf1239 04:18, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
- yes, we should have a category like...annelids, or planarians. annelid means segmented worm, and planarian means flat worm, we could put [swokes-swokes], [amani], and stuff into the page. Tristan7grunt 15:55, July 14, 2011 (UTC)tristan7grunt
