- That's actually not Appo, but Sergeant Fox - Kwenn
- Not that it particularly matters. Appo's armor is identical to that of a private. -- AdmThrawn
- True, but that's a still of the character from a particular scene from the movie, not a generic promo image like the one currently used for Appo - Kwenn
- Are the spoiler warnings still necessary? -- AdmThrawn --
- I doubt it. Admiral J. Nebulax 21:29, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)

- Any source that the Purge commander is Appo? Bly1993 20:57, 13 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- No. Admiral J. Nebulax 20:59, 13 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Vader's raid on the Jedi conclave takes place before the Empire's invasion of Kashyyyk (where Appo died). Unless Appo had some sick days saved up, that was him on Kessel. --AdmThrawn 00:50, 16 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Well, we'll need a source. Admiral J. Nebulax 00:55, 16 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- No, we don't. Unless Appo decided to take the day off, unless he had food poisoning, that was him on Coruscant and on Kessel. --AdmThrawn 01:00, 16 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Still, even if there's no doubt about it, we need a source for it. Admiral J. Nebulax 01:01, 16 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Fine. Go get one. Because one's not coming anytime soon. --AdmThrawn 01:02, 16 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- I'm just saying, the "unknown clone on Kessel who was probably Appo" isn't good enough. Admiral J. Nebulax 01:05, 16 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- I think that the burden should be on disproving that it was him, as opposed to the other way around. --AdmThrawn 01:13, 16 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Well, the point is, while it most likely was him, there still needs to be a source, no matter which way. Admiral J. Nebulax 01:14, 16 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry to re-open an old discussion, but Order 66: Destroy all Jedi reveals that it was Commander Bow on Kessel, not Appo. I've edited the article accordingly. Tam 08:37, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
- Well, Kwenn said something over on Talk:Bow. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk)

- Well, that figure is probably meant to be Appo. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- Sorry to bump an old discussion, but since Appo's been in Dark Times, couldn't we replace the promo pic of a generic 501st trooper with the one from Dark Times?--CT-5619 helmet comlink 23:36, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Appo and Battlefront II
- I just thought of something (but, of course, we will need an actual source). Is Appo the commander in Battlefront II that is giving the player orders during the Clone Wars part of Rise of the Empire? --DjMack Jorhaa'ir
- It's very likely, but, like you said, we need a source. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk)

[edit] Shock Trooper or 501st
- I just read the part in Dark Lord that states that Appo is commanding Shock Troopers. I know he is a 501st but why was he a shock trooper in Dark lord?
Quinlanfan 17:38, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- It just says he commanded shock troops. And they aren't necessarily clone shock troopers that guarded Coruscant. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

Thire was the coomander of the shock troopers on coruscant and appo is the coomander of the 501st.so what you saw on the dark lord was probably fanon.Thire 4477 01:41, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
- No, it's not. It's a mistake made by the author. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)
12:05, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
- so does that mean that appo is the commander of the shock troopers cause if it does then whats thire's jobThire 4477 06:45, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- Appo is commander of the 501st. Thire is commander of the shock troopers. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

[edit] Appo and Rex
Someone's going to have to do something about Appo and Rex's issue of leadership. On the Clone Wars official website, it says Rex is the leader of the 501'st. I know commander outranks captain, so there's a mistake right there. Rex must take orders from Appo, at least during Operation: Knightfall. Anyone?LastJedi1515 02:15, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
- Rex may be dead by the time of Operation: Knightfall, and Appo took his place as leader.--Rune Haako 02:26, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
- Or, he could have been pulled towards the rebellioin
[edit] Hasbro vs. CSWE
So, the Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia states that Commander Bow goes to Kessel to rescue Vader, while Hasbro places Appo there. Now I changed the articles to reflect the Encyclopedia just cause I didn't realize hasbro had made a story but, which do we listen too? The CSWE, or the back of the toy? I personally would say the encyclopedia over the toy, but I don't really care either way, so discuss it and do whatever is best. Purpilia 21:11, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- CSWE just says Bow was there. It doesn't say anything about Appo not being there. - Lord Hydronium 01:11, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
