Shock Trooper or 501st Edit

• I just read the part in Dark Lord that states that Appo is commanding Shock Troopers. I know he is a 501st but why was he a shock trooper in Dark lord?

Appo and Rex Edit

Someone's going to have to do something about Appo and Rex's issue of leadership. On the Clone Wars official website, it says Rex is the leader of the 501'st. I know commander outranks captain, so there's a mistake right there. Rex must take orders from Appo, at least during Operation: Knightfall. Anyone?LastJedi1515 02:15, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

• Appo could have been promoted from a lower rank than Rex and while being promoted during the clone wars he could've got the rank of commander by the end of the clone wars.

Hasbro vs. CSWEEdit

So, the Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia states that Commander Bow goes to Kessel to rescue Vader, while Hasbro places Appo there. Now I changed the articles to reflect the Encyclopedia just cause I didn't realize hasbro had made a story but, which do we listen too? The CSWE, or the back of the toy? I personally would say the encyclopedia over the toy, but I don't really care either way, so discuss it and do whatever is best. Purpilia 21:11, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

TimelineEdit

The timeline is screwed up, isn't it? Purge (set 1 month post-ROTS) must have occurred sometime during Dark Lord (set during ROTS through 2 months post-ROTS). In Dark Lord, after decapitating Bol Chatak (4 weeks post-ROTS) but sustaining minor injuries in the process, Vader recalls that before, only Dooku, Ventress, and Kenobi had been good enough to touch him in a duel. This seems to imply that Purge (where Vader suffers lightsaber wounds from Jastus Farr, Tsui Choi, and Bultar Swan) happened very soon after the death of Bol Chatak (because of the 4 weeks resp. 1 month settings). Let's just assume Vader went to Kessel sometime after killing Chatak, got wounded, then repaired... An entire chapter in Dark Lord is about how poorly designed Vader's new suit was. Surely, if he got it repaired after Kessel, he would've been very keen to get at least some of the most glaring flaws fixed. Thus, we have an explanation as to why he is able to jump around and kill several Jedi later in the book.
