Talk:CC-7700 frigate
Back to page
How is this article supposed to be cleaned up? There really isn't any information about this ship which I haven't already posted. Statistics and technical information are completely nonexistent, apart from in-game stats which are definately noncanon. A info box would basically be a waste of space, since everything would be "?". Sauce?
Edit
I'm source-hunting now, if I can't find a technical manual that's more reliable soon I'll revert the changes I made recently.

- Where did those stats come from in the first place? —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- It was late and I forgot my bookmarking, I think it was one of the secondary SWars Wikis. I'm going through my history now. May as well revert it until I can figure out if they were legitimate and not...Made up or some such nonsense.--Paintbait 22:26, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
- I'll do so now, then. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- I think I found the sources of the website where I got this source. Though, unfortunately, many listed are from D6 RPG Books and I don't know if that's even considered canon. --Paintbait 22:44, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
- It is, but it's better to go straight to the source rather than trusting other websites. A lot of guys have those books; if you list the books here, they might be able to look it up for you. -LtNOWIS 22:50, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

- Well, it's safe to say that we could probably knock off at least half that list. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- Yeppers, I was just working on shortening it to books that it has a higher likelihood of being in. And here it is:
- The Star Wars Sourcebook- West End Games, Inc.
- The Imperial Sourcebook- West End Games, Inc.
- Heir To The Empire Sourcebook-West End Games, Inc.
- Star Wars Technical Journals Vol. #1-3- Shane Johnson
- A Guide To The Star Wars Universe- Bill Slavicsek
- Star Wars Encyclopedia- Stephen J. Sansweet
If I had to make a guess, because of sheer obscurity, The Tecnical Journals or the Encyclopedia would be the best bet. While I'm on the subject any suggestions for source books that are 'must buy's? --Paintbait 00:58, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- I think The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels could also be crossed off. I don't think the CC-7700 is even mentioned in that, but I could be wrong. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- Good Point, that's one I actually have --if I could only find it underneath this pile of X-wing Novels. --Paintbait 01:04, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
Slash-E?
Edit
In Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor the ships are given the designation CC-7700/E. I'm assuming that E stands for extended, like the B-wing/E's. If so then wouldn't that imply a different ship? Should another article be made for the Slash-E's? Xicer9

Unsourced Info
Edit
Alright, it's been quite a while since I put up the source tag on the crew and length stats listed on this page. I'm removing them. Jenosidanian 19:01, April 10, 2012 (UTC)
