[edit] Fox's fate

What Ever really Happened to Fox? What did he become afterwards?A stormtrooper? I need TO KNOW!! Unsigned comment by 70.173.94.209 (talk • contribs).

[edit] Identity Crisis

I believe this character was actually in the Battle of Utapau. Orange colored? Appo is in the image. -- Riffsyphon1024 20:29, 30 Nov 2005 (UTC)

  • WHy do you believe that this trooper was in the Battle of Utapau? Admiral J. Nebulax 20:33, 30 Nov 2005 (UTC)
    • Well it wouldn't be Cody, but there was another orange clad trooper wearing a helmet similar to the clone assassin, but was a commander or sergeant. I don't believe that was him on Coruscant, that was Appo. Check his article. Could the Insider article be wrong too? -- Riffsyphon1024 20:43, 30 Nov 2005 (UTC)
      • I highly doubt that the Insider was wrong. However, it has proven wrong in the past... Admiral J. Nebulax 20:52, 30 Nov 2005 (UTC)
        • Fox is definatley Appo's 2IC at the Temple, and has been for as far as I can remember. The "clone assassin trooper"'s a member of Parjai Squad. Not seen a single reference to Fox being at Utapau. Tam 21:07, 30 Nov 2005 (UTC)
          • Thank you, Tam. Admiral J. Nebulax 21:10, 30 Nov 2005 (UTC)
            • Yea ok, maybe all this figure collecting is making me batty. -- Riffsyphon1024 04:58, 1 Dec 2005 (UTC)
              • Well, you're not the only figure collector around here that has gone a little "batty". Admiral J. Nebulax 21:53, 1 Dec 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Killed?

Wasn't Fox killed by Zett? I'm pretty sure he's one of the clones that bites it Jedi Xian 00:11, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

  • No. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 00:12, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
    • I just checked the DVD now and Fox IS killed by Zett. The article indicates that the clone who stopped Bail from entering the temple is Fox, stood between two other clones. Zett jumps over the three troopers closest to Bail and comes down in a roll, coming out of his roll, he first kills the trooper who would have been standing to Bail's right, then he kills the one on the left, before finally cutting down the trooper in the middle, who was talking to Bail, who is supposed to be Fox. If Fox wasn't killed, then at the very least he was taken out of action. Jedi Xian 01:45, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
      • Well, according to what it says in this article, Fox was one of the clones who wasn't killed. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 12:18, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
        • Well, considering what is blatantly obvious in the movie, don't you think it's possible that this article might be mistaken? Jedi Xian 15:42, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
          • Actually, no. Things have a way of always switching places in the Star Wars movies (rank insignia, etc.). Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 15:55, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
            • Plus, I checked Insider 84. It confirms that he survived and, therefore, was not killed by Zett. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 16:02, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
              • I just checked the DVD and Fox is supposed to be the one who orders the clones to stop shooting. If this is true, he did survive. If it also was him who killed Zett, than he's the one on the extreme left side of the screen in the second wave.--Crion87 15:51, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Dolpt Exci

I realize that wikipedia has no canon standing but, Fox's article there states that he was killed by a Rodian Jedi named "Dolpt Exci". Even if it is fake, at the very least we might have a new Jedi to add to "casualties of Order 66". Has anybody heard of this Jedi? Xeran 17:11, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

  • According to the script, it's a "Clone Sergeant" who accosts Bail ("It's time for you to leave"). This would be Fox. Appo then appears, ordering his men to shoot Zett. Appo is cut down (though actually survives long enough to be killed in Dark Lord), and Fox tells the clones to let Bail go - Kwenn 17:57, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Xeran, "Dolpt Exci" is fanon. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 18:29, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fox was not killed

Ok appo was killed on kashyyyk. yoda killed him along with gree. and sergent fox was not killed he killed zettThire 4477 01:26, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

He was killed on Kashyyyk by Roan Shryne in Dark Lord. Cheat 19:40, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image

The current image should be removed from the article. All four clones, including Appo, were cut down by Zukassa. Fox turns up later with some other troopers and shoots Zett from a distance, so he really can't be in this image. Is there even a source that identifies a certain clone from the movie as Sergeant Fox? None of the listed sources does. Borsk Fey'lya 22:48, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

  • The ROTS Script identifies the clone who orders Organa to leave as "Clone Sergeant", whereas it says Appo is one of the Clones running up who yells "Get him! Shoot him!"--CT-5619 helmet comlink 21:11, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
    • Then it wasn't Appo who stopped Bail. This should be changed in the article. Appo has to be the clone Jukassa attacks first (the one standing directly behind the first four troopers), that's the only remaining possibility.
But the "Clone Sergeant" could impossibly be Fox. According to The Original Order of Order 66 the "Clone Sergeant" and Fox are two different characters, although they might share the same rank. Fox shoots Jukassa after the "Sergeant" and some other clones have been killed (see Order 66: Destroy All Jedi). - Borsk Fey'lya 23:28, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
      • I agree. I haven't used an image for the Yodapedia page. We know Fox is there. We just don't know for sure which Clone he is. When he says the words, we just see Bail flying away. --Sompeetalay 17:49, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] "We are not shooting down civilians"

The last sentence indicates that Fox let Bail go just because he was an unarmed civilian. What's the source that was the real reason? I always thought they a) realized it would be a waste of energy cells, or b) they were instructed to kill Jedi. - TopAce (Talk) 13:03, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

  • Did he say that in the movie? I don't remember him doing so...Unit 8311 13:22, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
    • It's not in the novelisation. -- I need a name (Complain here) 14:57, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
      • All he says in the movie is "Let him go!" - TopAce (Talk) 13:05, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
        • In the movie, after Organa flies away one of clones says something. Darth Oompa Loompa 17:16, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Commander Fox?

  • Recently images of a Commander Fox minfigure for a LEGO set for The Clone Wars line has been released, and is wearing red armor. Is it possible that this is the same clone trooper and was later demoted to sergeant, or would it be that this is a different trooper? See [1] and [2] for images. I know that toys aren't always considered a reliable source, but this line of sets are meant to be straight out of the Clone Wars film/TV series, and the LEGO sets haven't been wrong yet for this line as far as I've seen. • And don't forget the new images of the Hasbro Figure of said clone trooper. [3]-Proconix 14:14, 3 July 2008 (UTC)Proconix
