HeightEdit

Is he really 1.5 meters? So, did his friends call him Calo "Short" or what? KEJ 12:48, 14 Dec 2005 (UTC)

  • The Databank says so. And I believe there are a few comments on his height throughout KOTOR. --MarcK [talk] 12:54, 14 Dec 2005 (UTC)
    • Hmmm... I don't seem to remember any comments like that, but I believe you :-) Anyway, 1.5 meters is really really short - kind of like a tall Jawa. I wonder if somebody who's not really acquainted with the metric system wrote the entry in the databank. Also in the game he does not look like he's 1.5 meters. But if the databank says so, then so be it :-) KEJ 13:04, 14 Dec 2005 (UTC)

I'm sure his short stature had to do with his stunted growth as a result of malnutrition during slavery. I don't think his master fed him enough during those years. --68.102.193.78 15:30, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

what was wrong with what i added?Edit

The quote that mission said? Master Nikolce 07:23, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

  • It was misspelled. Although I would have corrected it instead of removing. - Sikon [Talk] 10:51, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

Can you put it back then?

How did Calo Nord escape Taris?Edit

So he still lived even when pinned under all that debris. He applies those Kolto kits on himself, and shakes free of the rubble.

Now the next problem is finding a still-working ship. When Taris was bombed out, all of the ships in all of the hangars must've been destroyed along with it. If those turbolasers could shatter buildings, they could certainly annihilate any ship docked inside them.

How did Calo Nord find one somehow?

(Besides, this gives hope that more people survived on Taris than originally believed. If a midget like Calo can survive the bombardment, there were certainly MANY Tarisians that were more robust than him that also survived. I guess millions survived, but were all knocked back to the Iron Age.) --68.102.193.78 06:30, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

  • Didn't the Sith forces find him in the rubble and rescue him? Evir Daal 09:28, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
  • If Revan had enough time to go back to his base and pick up the rest of his crew, maybe Carlo had enough time to find a ship? Boogachamp 09:43, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Did he know who Revan was?Edit

When Calo Nord meets Malak for the first time on the bridge of the Leviathan, Admiral Karath tells him that Calo had some information about Revan that should be spoken away from the troops, about one of Bastila's companions(I'm assuming about Revan himself.) Could it be that Calo knew who Revan was, and if so how would this be possible? I don't know what else Calo could've been talking about, and if it was something else, please enlighten me.

  • Probably just one of those things that he knew. Probably had a run-in or saw Revan from a distance without his mask at one point. Just Calo being in the right place at the right time I guess. --RedemptionTalk Uglykotoricon.svg 06:24, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
    • Hmm... It still would be interesting to find out :)
  • Maybe he just described what Revan looked like and Saul knew who he was talking about?
    • Either this version is true, either some kind of more 'romantic', e. g. Calo had a list of potentially lucrative 'preys' somewhere on a datapad with him, a list of famous politicians/leaders/rich criminals etc., with Revan among them, including a hologram about each person. After recovering from being crushed under the ceiling, he could have started wondering who that soldier was, who, despite being newbie and insignificant, was skilled enough to survive in Taris Lower and Undercities, attract Canderous's attention, and then survive an encounter with him. He then just browsed his list quickly, and to his great surprise, he found a familiar face...--Domlith 11:46, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
  • It's assumed to be Revan. I think that Malak and Saul were thinking of two different people after Malak found out Revan was alive. Remeber, Carth hated Saul and was with Revan in the Lower City Cantina. So we know for sure Calo saw him Malak was intrested in Revan, Saul was interested in Carth.--Allurade Dendra 22:09, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

More important is to include something about this, at least indicate the uncertainity around this topic - like: 'it is not known wether he had already known Revan by face, or just gave a description to Saul Karath which was accurate to the point that the admiral could identify Revan beyond doubt.'--Domlith 14:20, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Calo a Mando?Edit

I heard rumors that Calo was a Mandalorian Neo-Crusader after breaking free of slavery and before working for Davik. I think it is because of the customized Mando armor and heavy mandalorian blasters. Can some one confirm this?

  • I don't think there's any canon source on that, so it probably just was a rumour. And also, please sign your comments. Evir Daal 09:00, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

Mando 4 SureEdit

Just because he has Mandalorian equipment it doesn't make him a Mandalorian.

VA?Edit

Does anyone know who his VA was? I was playing KOTOR recently, and noticed that his voice sounded virtually identical to that of this one narrator for many History Channel shows I've seen. Any idea if they're the same guy or not? Dewback rancher 22:59, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

Calo Nord's voiced by Lloyd Sherr, the same man who voices Father in The Clone Wars series. He also voiced Dorak Quinn in the same game. A-Stone 19:24, May 13, 2011 (UTC)A-Stone

Calo on Korriban then another planet?Edit

I was on Korriban where I was attacke by Calo an two Sith Students. I killed the Sith easily and almost completely killed Calo. That is when he killed the two party members. I escape and to afraid to go back lol. If I go to another planet, will he be there waiting? If so, will he have full health and have new thugs?

  • I'm not sure if he'll be there on another planet or not, but a stratagy I use when something like that happens to me is to lead him close to a door without enemies on the other side (like the acadamy) and run inside when he's about to kill me. Your party members will appear with you on the other side (with close to 1 VIT). Heal them then attack Nord again. This also works with Bandon, I belive his name was. But if I'm wrong about the name, it was Malaks apprentice. Also, sign your posts. NaruHina 18:34, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
    • If you don't kill him he will go to another planet. Same with Bandon, I encountered this myself. Jono R 22:21, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

Truly Dead?Edit

As we've seen before, and as Calo himself states - Calo Nord is uncannily difficult to kill (force sensitive to a degree maybe?). If he's the kind of guy who can crawl out of several tons of wreckage AND manage to haul himself off the planet with little significant injury then... could he have survived Revan? Used a technique to feign death, possibly, whist Revan stripped him of his outer armor? All of the planets (including Manaan - a dangerous place to start a fight) gave a reason as to why Revan would not wish to stick around...
There's more than meets the eye with Calo Nord, and he's one character who would be too easy to resurrect. --213.78.254.77

Verpine Zal ArmorEdit

In at least the computer version of kotor you can get verpine zal armor from the rakatan by the water for killing the mandalorians, thus i think we should remove that blip about the armor in kotor 2. 24.150.229.100 02:49, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Spurious BioEdit

What's the source for everything between "Biography" and "Life as a Bounty Hunter"? Was it mentioned in KotOR? Where? Also, is the information on his height being 1.5 meters solely from the Databank? Could this be another one of the Databank's errors? Rymmeli Throhn 17:48, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

He is a meanie! Edit

--Chad Muska 17:27, April 15, 2010 (UTC)Chad

He always kills someone on who talks to him. He counts to three, he counts up to it by how many times the person talks to him. If you walk away before he says 2 or 3, he will say: "Smart choice". He is soooooooooooooo mean! He is the meanest Bounty hunter that ever lived!
