[edit] Captain who?

anyone know who the stormtrooper captain onboard the DeathStarPrototype was? It seems like he was the real person in charge of the DSP-shouldn' he have an article? Or am I just missing it? Dr.Kermit 01:29, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Disambiguation discussion/vote

AdmiralAckbar and I are of differing opinions about what to have at the Champions of the Force page. My belief is that with three separate topics now that share that title, it should be a disambiguation page directing to:

AdmiralAckbar believes that more people would be looking for the novel and therefore Champions of the Force should lead for the novel, and leaving the disamgiguation page here: Champions of the Force (disambiguation).

We've agreed to let the community voice their opinion on this.

[edit] Champions of the Force as disambiguation page

  1. I believe that regardless of the novel being first and probably most well known, since there are three different things that "Champions of the Force" could refer to, let it be a disambiguation page and then let the reader decide which one they wanted to get to. [edit] Champions of the Force as novel page with separate disambig page

  1. The majority of readers will be looking for the novel. It's far more notable, being a commercially successful novel - one of the first SW novels, too - written by a well-known author. The other two are a merchandizing line and a trading card game expansion of a video game. Far more things link to the novel than the other two. It's unnecessary to waste the natural title on a disambig page when one item is far more notable than the other two. Since there's only three items a disambig isn't really necessary anyway, imo. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 22:10, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
  2. As long as the youmay templates are at the top of each page, then I'd say stories trump sources. And really, I think the subtle youmay templates are much, much prettier than disambig pages. Disambig pages are ugly, and I'm all for reducing the number of them where ever possible. SinisterSamurai 22:20, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
    • The Youmay template works fine when there are only two items sharing the title. Hence why the disambiguation page is needed. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 22:32, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
  3. As per above (still wanna know who the captain is though...:]) Dr.Kermit(The Doctor is in) 22:24, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
  4. I am fine wth the way it was before. Mauser 07:47, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
  5. If there's a page we can reasonably expect most people to be looking for when searching a given term, that thing should be there. It's only when there's a reasonable doubt that a majority of users would search for a certain thing that the disambig page should be at the basic term. jSarek 05:11, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
