Can shapeshifters shift to any living fourm?BobafettH23 01:19, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

  • Depends on the shapeshifter. Elder Shi'ido are probably the most capable shapeshifters. jSarek 02:03, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

Shapeshifting through the Force/magic Edit

I aknowledge Charal and her magic ring weren't a good example for this article, as they don't represent a species as a whole. But shouldn't we have at least a section of the article dedicated to the "other ways" of shapeshifting, through the Force or through magic? LelalMekha 02:53, January 10, 2012 (UTC)

  • I think a link to a separate article on "magic" or Force-based shapechanging would be appropriate. —Silly Dan (talk) 03:10, January 10, 2012 (UTC)
    • I'll see if I can find enough material for a proper article, then I'll try and initiate it. LelalMekha 11:15, January 10, 2012 (UTC)

Species list Edit

We need a list of species and notable or presented members of the shapeshifter/changeling designation. We have Shi'do and Clawdite, but the Garlanins, I believe they are called, from the Republic Commando series are not mentioned in this article. 05:25, September 1, 2013 (UTC)

  • Feel free to add the info and source it if you so desire. MasterFredCommerce Guild(Whatever) 05:26, September 1, 2013 (UTC)
  • Oh...Okay...But will people be able to find it? Is that list as good while being a category or should be moved to this page? I don't have the answer and I am not arguing with you, but should the data be split apart like that? 15:26, September 1, 2013 (UTC)
    • Lists are usually harder to maintain than categories -- every item in a list usually needs to be separately sourced, and the list is almost always incomplete. I've added the category to this article (link is at the bottom): if it were longer, a link could also be put into the text. —Silly Dan (talk) 15:43, September 1, 2013 (UTC)
      • Alright. You know what your talking about. I'll leave it be then. That sounds like a good reason. Thanks for answering. 15:31, September 2, 2013 (UTC)
