I'm a little confused by this move to equate the guy in a RPG sourcebook (Chidee Na Maak) with a character who appears in a narrative (Chidee). How do we know they're the same character? There really aren't any closeups of Chidee in his Star Wars: Rogue Squadron appearance. But longshots reveal a guy who seems to have a much thinner frame than the guy whose picture appears on this article. Indeed, the comic Chidee is seen in longshot as being well over standard Human height, and roughly the height of Chewbacca. This is considerably taller than the usual depiction of Duros. Further, his eyes are not colored red, although it's arguable this is because we're not close to him. Still, Duros eyes are unusually large, so it seems to me we should have seen some coloring in the one medium shot we get at the bottom of page 1 of RS #30. He also doesn't have the characteristic forehead of a Duros. I suppose what I'm saying is that I'm not fully convinced this is a Duros, much less Chidee Na Maak. But I suppose he could be allowed as a Duros, forgiving "artistic license".

The real kicker for me are the two other sources. I've never seen Pirates and Privateers nor this article in Star Wars Gamer #2 that the article claims. Do either of these sources link the full name "Chidee Na Maak" to Starforge Station? If so, then I guess it's the same guy. Otherwise, I think it's more reasonable to assume that there's more than one Duros walking around with the first name "Chidee". The key to resolving this is likely that latest source, the SWG article. If it uses the full name, "Chidee Na Maak", and then adds in the Starforge Station connection from the comic, then it's the same guy. But if there's no mention of Starforge in the later article, or if that article doesn't use the full name, then I think it more reasonable to assume that "Chidee" is a Duros first name common to at least two characters.
