Even more discrepancies[]

There's already a short list on the main article, but there's a few more that might be worth mentioning:

  • It states that Jolee Bindo was a Jedi Master, when anyone who talks to Jolee would know he never progressed beyond Padawan, and even turned down a promotion to full knight. Although maybe this is some kind of indication that he re-joined the Order and was promoted?
  • It makes it sound like Revan was a Sith Lord again when he defeated Malak; I can't even start on how confusing that is since they also state he returned to the Light, but then seem to write Revan's motives for re-discovering Malachor V unclear.
  • The article refers to the Jedi Civil War as the "Old Republic Insurrection" but to my knowledge I have never seen this term show up anywhere else.
  • The article makes it sound like Bastila wasn't captured by Brejik, but maybe just ommited to save space.
  • It also states that Revan fell to the dark side before he joined the War, when all other sources describe a more gradual descent brought on by battle-field conditions and reasoning.

Thoughts anyone? Space Ball 09:17, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

  • Feel free to add those items to the list. I only just added that section yesterday and I knew that there were plenty of errors that I had missed… –SentryTalk 09:33, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
    • Your first and third points are very good. The reason for your second point is that the article was written before Revan's gender and alignment had been officially established. As for your fifth point, Vrook states in the first game that Revan and Malak had fallen to the dark side before the war and that the council had been unable to turn them back. In KotOR:TSL, Mical states that Revan spoke to Kreia before the war in order to ask her how to best leave the order. As such, Revan's fall seems to have occurred shortly before the Jedi officially entered the war in 3963 BBY and the Chronicles only confirm that fact. –SentryTalk 09:33, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
      • Hey Sentry - I didn't even realize that it was you who had added it, or just yesterday for that matter. I just came here by coincidence. I'll add my points if you want. But as for Revan's fall, everyone else who described Revan indicated that his fall happened during the war, although he was definatly showing some dark side like tendencies. Besides, Vrook obviously had a biased point of view, because Zhar Dorack, and Kreia differed with his opinion. Personally I do find it easy to believe that he fell before the war though and nobody noticed. Space Ball 09:57, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
        • I agree that it's possible that Jolee rejoined the order after the battle of the Star Forge and became a master, since "The Adventures of Jolee Bindo on the Outer Rim" are apparently important jedi archives (Mical in KotoR 2). I'm not sure this is a continuity error... yet.

The Exile a padawan?[]

"Exile or not - the Sith believe you to be a Jedi Knight, and that is all that matters."
―Kreia[src]

Excuse me, who other than the Chronicles says the Exile was a padawan?--Jinger 23:56, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

Date[]

I've added that this says the Mandalorian Wars end after the mandalorians are defeated and Revan turns bad. Check the dates if you don't believe it (User:1705jallen)

IM AN IDIOT! I READ THE TIMELINE BACKWARDS! I was hoping nobody would notice. User:1705jallen
