Talk:Clone Wars (books)

- Wait, is this just explaining the general books set during the Clone Wars, or is there an actual series of books called Clone Wars? MarcK 06:31, 7 Jul 2005 (UTC)
- Almost all of the books set during the Clone Wars are labelled "A Clone Wars Novel" (the only exception I can think of being Labyrinth of Evil). It's not an actual series, per se, but it is a Lucasfilm-defined subset of the larger world of Star Wars fiction. jSarek 07:04, 7 Jul 2005 (UTC)
- That definition is getting a little more ambiguous now, with the introduction of the new novel series The Clone Wars (novels). If this page is intended to list only the 2002-2005 books that Lucasfilm stamped "A Clone Wars Novel", the text should mention that. If it's meant to list all Clone Wars-era novels, it should include The Clone Wars and The Clone Wars: Wild Space. I have no opinion about which of those is the correct way to handle it, but I do believe it's a little misleading the way it stands now, as it comes across as a complete listing of all novels set in the Clone Wars era, which it isn't (anymore). clone wars books
Edit
isn't Legacy of the Jedi one of these as it has 'a clone wars novel' on the front cover? and wouldn't Secrets of the Jedi be one as well as they are the same thing? i'm adding it. --that fool 03:12, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
Move
Edit
Suggesting a move to Clone Wars (novels) to better fit with the actual concept. Mauser 06:38, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
- I agree. On the cover it states: A Clone Wars Novel, not book. --Darth Paulus
