Please separate the Z-95/Canon pageEdit

Dear Admins, I would like to point out that it would be much easier if one was to separate the Canon Z-95 Headhunter. What I am saying is, could you separate the Clone Z-95 and the standard Z-95? Example: Making an article for the Z-95 Headhunters that appear in Star Wars: Commander and Tarkin and creating an article for the Clone Z-95. I think this would make it a lot easier for editing about future material and what not, I'm sure you get the idea. -Yorkieman95.

  • Why not go ahead and create it? No need to repost someone else's message; you can just create the necessary page. That way, the issue is solved. :) - Brandon Rhea(talk) 23:47, November 30, 2014 (UTC)
    • Just thought i'd repost it here before I do anything. Also, would anyone happen to have a good image of the Z-95 from Star Wars: Commander?AV-6R7User talk:AV-6R7 23:53, November 30, 2014 (UTC)
      • There is nothing in tarkin to suggest that the headhunters that appear in it are different than the clone z-95. Does anyone know how the commander z-95 compares to the clone z-95? From a canon standpoint, there may be no evidence that they are substantially different vehicles.--Rifleman556x45 (talk) 15:53, December 1, 2014 (UTC)
        • Screenshot from Commander. They definitely modeled it after the original non-clone version. On the databank it says "A multi-purpose starfighter, the Z-95 has spawned countless variants, with the Republic making its own mark on the Headhunter's large production run with a clone trooper-specific model." Since the one in TCW is the "clone trooper-specific model" then the one in Commander would be the 'normal' model, no? -- Xell Khaar (talk) 09:26, December 15, 2014 (UTC)

Should we really have two separate pages for these? From the Canon information we have, the only thing really setting these two apart is the fact that the Republic one has "Clone" at the beginning, and they're painted differently. We don't have separate pages for the Republic and Imperial versions of the police gunship, so I don't believe we should have separate pages for the Z-95 Headhunter. • I vote merge, the differences between the two models come across as more stylistic interpretation than being a different ship. Like Rebels TIES looking smaller and boxier than in the movies. 00:28, April 29, 2015 (UTC)
    • I vote yes. - AV-6R7User talk:AV-6R7 02:53, April 29, 2015 (UTC)
      • As do I. If a user were to search for a Z-95, it would be annoying to realize there are two articles for pretty much the same thing. Nivlacanator(talk) 03:19, April 29, 2015 (UTC)
        • I vote yes as well.Jkirk8907 (talk) 04:25, May 5, 2015 (UTC)
          • I, for one, disagree. They obviously are two different models, and I really can't see how that's confusing. Users aren't morons. --LelalMekha (talk) 08:55, May 5, 2015 (UTC)
            • I redact my vote. The clone Z-95 is listed as a variant. I've removed the appearances that only refer to the Z-95 , and not specifically the clone variant. - AV-6R7User talk:AV-6R7 17:31, May 5, 2015 (UTC)
              • both articles at the very least need to be better integrated, to make it clear that this starfighter is a variant of the normal Z-95. ralok (talk) 17:43, May 5, 2015 (UTC)
                • I took care of that on the clone Z-95 page. - AV-6R7User talk:AV-6R7 17:52, May 5, 2015 (UTC)
                  • I cleaned up the Z-95 Headhunter page to include info from the SWE and refer to the clone variant. - AV-6R7User talk:AV-6R7 03:08, May 6, 2015 (UTC)
                    • Alright then, sounds good. Since the clone Z-95 is merely a slightly altered version of the original Z-95, is it alright to list all clone Z-95 appearances as Z-95 Headhunter appearances as well? Cevan (talk) 15:44, May 10, 2015 (UTC)
                      • This is basically the same as the Y-wing starfighter, both used during the Galactic Civil War and the Clone Wars. Both almost the same, slightly different designs. So I would say yes. Nivlacanator(talk) 21:20, May 10, 2015 (UTC)
