Teras KasiEdit

Is specific mention made of this? The Teras Kasi fighting style is often mentioned all overt his wiki but without specific canon to back this up it shouldn't be used.--DannyBoy7783 00:34, 21 Dec 2005 (UTC)

  • Well, we could always ask whoever added it. Admiral J. Nebulax 00:44, 21 Dec 2005 (UTC)
    • It was added by User:216.228.55.139 and stuck. Can anyone back this up? --SparqMan 04:54, 17 Jan 2006 (UTC)
      • I've got the urge to put a Sourcless tag on this article. Brawler-class? Come on. This is not OK. --AdmThrawn 04:59, 17 Jan 2006 (UTC)
        • you could remove the brawler class if you want too, it was just a name to differentiate the snipers and the ones we see "brawling" with obi and yoda in the game --Razzy1319 05:04, 17 Jan 2006 (UTC)
          • It's still full of inaccuracies and conjectures. There's no proof that they're ARCs. No proof that they were trained to fight Jedi. No proof of the Teräs Käsi statement. No proof the clone assassins went on to train 501st troopers, Storm Commandos, and Coruscant Guards. --AdmThrawn 05:10, 17 Jan 2006 (UTC)
            • Actually, there is a statement of the assassins being trained in Teräs Käsi. In the concept art in the ROTS video game, if you unlock the clone assassin art ,it says that they were. Of course, thats a concept, right? --Zakor1138 11:34, 6 Mar 2006 (UTC)

Clone snipers? Edit

Why were clone sharpshooters redirected here? In Battlefront I and II, they were basically just clone troopers with sniper rifles. I don't recall seeing any indications of ARC-level training. Furthermore, clone sharpshooters were at the Battle of Geonosis. It says clone assassins were created in response to Dooku's dark jedi, which was after the war had began. -LtNOWIS 20:52, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

  • Remember, Battlefront and it's sequel go against canon. Admiral J. Nebulax 21:10, 17 February 2006 (UTC)
    • That's true. But I still don't see any evidence for the "clone sharpshooters = clone assassins" statement the article makes. -LtNOWIS 21:33, 17 February 2006 (UTC)
      • Well, I see what you mean. Admiral J. Nebulax 01:48, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
        • Yeah. They never ever called clone sharpshooters clone assassins. EVER.
          • Again, saying something without a source to back it up. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 12:47, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
            • If there is no freakin source, why don't you remove the section about the clone sharpshooter for gosh sake?
              • You were the one that said "they never ever called clone sharpshooters clone assassins". So I asked you for a source on that. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 19:47, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
                • There is no proof clone shaprshooters were clone assassins. There is no proof that clone assassins were sharpshooters. THERE IS NO SOURCE. Your just a jerk who likes to push little teenagers around. This thing is innacurate and the innacuracies should be deleted. If I wrote an article with this many un proven innacuracies, you would flip out. Why is this article any different? Huh? Find a source that calls a clone sharpshooter a clone assassin. But there is not one. It is fanon. FANON: The thing you despise so much. Admiral, i despise you. This whole article doesn't have a source for the clone assassins training sharpshooters. And your asking ME for a source! Talk about hypocrisy.
                  • Of course you don't have a source. You never had a source for anything. And I'm not "a jerk who likes to push little teenagers around". And if you despise me so much, then stop posting on my talk page. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 21:34, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
                    • I do have sources for things. You just chose to ignore it. What your telling me is that i have to prove that Clone Sharpshooters were not Clone Assassins. That is totally illogical. Even YOU admitted that it was probably innacurate that they were clone sharpshooters. I think YOU should prove that clone assassins are clone sharpshooters. THAT is logical.
                      • Yes, I have said that, but I said "probably" because I didn't have a source to say "ye" or "no". You cannot give a definite answer here without a source. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 21:39, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
                        • Your comment about me not having sources was aimed to degrade, bully, and intimidate me because you yourself know that i do have sources for most of my stuff. Only two things (besides the fanon) have you pegged with sources template thing, and I am NOT intimidated by you and your encyclopedic "knowledge".
                          • No, the comment was not ment to. It was a fact, because you never provide sources when asked. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 21:44, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
                            • Maybe it is because, unlike you, i have a life besides star wars, such as school, friends, and possibly i get grounded. THAT is the only reason I do not provide sources as soon as your majesty demands them, and also I live with six other people who use the computer and i cannot have unlimited access to it.
                              • I do have a life besides Star Wars. And even when you are on, you never provide a source. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 21:48, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
                                • Clone snipers in Battlefront were tactical sharpshooters, not assassins. Unless there's evidence to suggest they're related to clone asssasins, they shouldn't be on this page. There needs to be proof of a connection, not a lack of disproof. That said, you need to calm down Ghost1591. If you make personal attacks and such, you might get temporarily banned. -LtNOWIS
                                  • Thank you, LtNOWIS. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 21:50, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
                                    • I will now provide a list of articles I have made without sources (besides the fanon, and you will also notice these DO have sources NOW):
  • ARC trooper assault rifle
  • Under-barrel micro rocket launcher

I will now provide the articles i have with sources (that i provided immediately):

The point is that YOU said i did not provide sources for anything, but i just proved that that was only for TWO articles. So your comment on my sources was just something you made up to dampen my efforts. Good bye.

  • Yes, maybe I did, but I was referring to the ones that you didn't provide sources for. And while you're gone, make sure you learn how to become more mature. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 21:59, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
    • First of all, I'm not the one being immature. YOU are. Your just having a fit because a 14-year old teenager just proved something you said wrong, and YOUR not happy about that and YOUR going to try and bully me (once again). I really don't care what the heck you think about me, just like you don't care what i think about you. Now lets leav it at that.
      • Sure, I'm the immature one. You were the one who was complaining about me on my talk page and trying to make a fool out of me on this page. Next time you make a personal attack on me, you're name will be up on the vandalism page. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 22:05, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

Ok. THAT is REALLY immature. Using a vandalism page? HAH! You've been going after me, and i've turned the tables. In case you haven't noticed, you have been doing this to me as well. So if i go on the vandalism page, YOU do to.

  • No, I haven't been making personal attacks against you. Besides, if you make another personal attack directed at me, you'll be banned, as LtNOWIS stated. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 22:08, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

You are right. I am flipping out, and i apologize for it. But the clone assassin article should be changed so that it is accurate.

  • I agree. And I also apologize. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 00:53, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
    • I accept your apology and i am glad we're through with that.
      • Yes. I believe that through teamwork, we can accomplish many good things. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 00:59, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

SuperiorEdit

is it a safe bet to say that the Clone Assassins are superior to the IG-100 MagnaGuard in terms of combat. User:Kami-Sama

  • think so, cause clone assassins are much faster than this droids

PicEdit

Should we put a picture of the clone assassin in the beacon room? Rayman 15:12, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

  • Why? There is no room for another image in the article, and the two in there are perfectly fine. If you have a reason for doing so, then please provide it, but otherwise, I'd have to say no need for another. - JMAS 16:28, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
    • On a diffrent note may i suggest that the main picture is removed? it's a bit to....Cartoony, is there not a better picture? RC-1136 17:22, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
      • due to a lack of objection I have replaced the (former) main image with the other one, if you disagree with this edit please discuss it here.
        • also in the article it mentions that yoda and obi-wan where attacked by assassin's during Operation:Knightfall I belive you see this attack in Revenge of the sith, would it be possible to get a picture of a clone assassin from there? RC-1136 19:42, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
          • The image you removed is a screenshot from the ROTS game, so don't remove it again. Thanks. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 19:48, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
            • Sure, but would you not agree that the second picture is far better? RC-1136 20:00, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
              • As it's concept art, it doesn't belong in the main image place. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 00:16, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
                • Ok, didn't relise as i don't have the game myself. RC-1136 08:22, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

True Colors Edit

I question the validity of the Republic Commando: True Colors appearance.

I reread the book and while "Clone assassin" did appear in the text I took it to mean an assasin that was a clone, not this specific class of clones. The clones beign talked about at the time where Covert Ops troopers, and are correctly referanced in that artical.

Fix up the characteristics section? Edit

  • Can somebody fix up the characteristics section? Its a mess. Some people and things say they have DC-15xs and I'm not sure it the had blasters, but I know that they had blaster pistols and twin vibro-blades. And did they have thermal detonators? (A small question, was the enhanced speed built into them or was it trained into them?). This section need to be fix up badly! Thanks for your help!--ARC commander4 00:27, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
  • Thanks Naruhina for clearing up the web page!--ARC commander4 09:35, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Umm... a few additions to the article? Edit

I don't know if this is cannon or not but should we add that they carried sniper rifles since it says they did in the clone trooper article. Umm... and they have blaster pistols. There is proof on the star wars the clone wars campaign guide. One more thing is that we probably (i'm not saying for sure) should add that they were very fast in, not only attacking, but in running and reflexes.--ARC commander4 17:40, September 7, 2009 (UTC)

  • They did not carry sniper rifles. The confusion is due to "clone assassin" being used to describe a sniper in the Order 66 novel. The comment about their speed is already added. Also, they did not carry blasters in the game and I don't think it said that in the Guide either. Could you please quote where it does? NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 20:30, September 7, 2009 (UTC)
    • It's in the illustration of the clone assassin. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 21:47, September 7, 2009 (UTC)
    • Scratch that. I wasn't viewing it at full size and what I thought was a holster isn't, it's just a belt pouch. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 21:54, September 7, 2009 (UTC)
  • Look at the last thing on his list, "Possessions: clone trooper armor, two wrist mounted vibroblades, blaster pistol."--ARC commander4 16:21, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

91st recon? Edit

Are they part of the 91st Reconnaissance Corps? That's what the helmet symbol suggests. --Mand'alor te Siit 20:03, December 3, 2009 (UTC)

Shadow clone assassin Edit

Ok, i added an image of a shadow clone assassin some days ago, i took it from a web that had a big pic with clone assassins on it, and said it was copyrighted, but since one clone assassin was already used in this article, why was my pic removed if the clone assassin concept art in this article is copyrighted too and was on that pic? Labj 18:21. 06 June 2010

  • It was removed because taking a picture of concept art and labelling it as something it's not is fanon. -- I need a name (Complain here) 10:39, June 28, 2010 (UTC)

Article text as of 12/23/210 Edit

Under equipment, it says "The assassins wore parted kamas". My question is: Are kamas ALWAYS parted? Because if they are, then the "parted" is superfluous and, in my opinion, sounds kind of bad. It's like saying "stiletto shoes with heels".WIERDGREENMAN 04:32, December 24, 2010 (UTC)

P.S. I've also posted this question on the kama talk page.

Clone Assassin - Age? Edit

If clone assassins (and clone paratroopers for that matter) had to be ordered AFTER the GAR became public knowledge (22 BBY), then the ages would be messed up. The Kaminoans would either have to take normally trained clones and train them (for three years at maximum, because the assassins were deployed in Operation Knightfall in 19 BBY), or else dramatically accelerate the assassins' aging. This would probably not compensate for the intensity of their training. Any explanation? - kti131 70.108.44.173 01:35, November 9, 2012 (UTC)
