Redirect to ARC Heavy Gunner? It really is quite pointless, this page is the same thing as the ARC Heavy Gunner with a different title.

WTF? Why is this back? It's more appropriate since now its talking about a seperate trooper from an ARC gunner, but still, now there are two of the same things for that RotS Video Game trooper. Why was this particular wiki rehashed?

  • "A seperate trooper". How so? It seems an aweful lot like the ARC heavy gunner. Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 20:52, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
    • Never mind. There is the clone heavy gunner from the RotS video game. Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 20:55, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
      • Yes, and now this and the Clone trooper heavy weapons specialist both exist yet are the same thing. Which brings back the question; why was this made, from a previously redirected Wiki, into something that already exists? That's just really stupid...

From Talk:Clone trooper heavy weapons specialist[]

convienent merge[]

Heavy assault trooper, Clone heavy trooper, and Clone trooper heavy weapons specialist should be merged, as they are about pretty much the same thing. You could add the images and text of all of them, turning them from stubs to good articles.--1upD 23:56, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

I agree, don't merge for the same reason that we don't know if they are the same. Cyfiero 23:57, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

Also, the clone gunners used different missile launchers than the clone heavy troopers. Their missile launchers did not cause as big of an explosion but did cover the target in flames. Cyfiero 23:59, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

Clone Gunner?[]

Weren't these clone units known as clone gunners according to the Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith video game? Cyfiero 23:50, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

No seriously, where did Clone trooper heavy weapons specialist come from? The video game calls them clone gunners. Marco Lam Jedi Order(Contact) 10:51, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

  • Well, when I have the time, I'll check to see this clone trooper variant's name. The strategy guide calls them "clone heavy gunners," but I'm going to check with the video game later. I think that whoever created this article, saw them in the game, but didn't know what they were called--the name only appears in the artwork included in the game. The creator of the article most likely came up with this ridiculously long name of the clone troopers when they were really called clone heavy gunners. Anyways, I'm going to check later to confirm the name of this. Lol, I talk to myself a lot. Marco Lam Jedi Order(Contact) 08:17, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
    • Okay, I'm sure that in the video game--the concept art section--the unit is called clone heavy gunner. Marco Lam Jedi Order(Contact) 09:35, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

A Clear Variant...[]

  • Ithink that the clone heavy troope or the clone trooper gunner (or both) are clear variatants of the clone heavy gunner. First the Clone heavy trooper:

1)They both are heavily armored and similarly featured. 2)They both are anti-trooper (yes the clone heavy trooper is anti-vehilce AND anti-trooper it says so in the article about him). 3)Their equipment is quite similar (Heavy weapons). 4)Both their overall are about similar. 5)They both appear around the end of the clone wars.

Second the Clone gunner (although there isn't an article about him):

1)They both are gunners. 2)The clone heavy gunner could have been the successors of the clone gunners at the end of the clone wars.

So I think its quite clear that one of them (if not both) could have been a variant.--ARC commander4 16:26, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

  • Oh yeah and if they are a variant of any of the above, then we should merge them together.--ARC commander4 16:55, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
