Galactic Marine
Edit
What's the difference between clone marines and a clone galactic marines? The only difference is that this page is talking about the "Battlefront II version" of the clone marines. It is endlessly stated that the only part of Battlefront that is to be regarded as canon is the storyline. Please respond, otherwise this article will be cleared and redirected to Galactic Marine. - I agree, I don't get why this is a separate article. Kuralyov 05:01, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

The Differnce Between Marines and Galactic Marines
Edit
- The Marines are an actual Shipboard elementof the Republic Navy and possibly part of a ships crew. —Unsigned comment by Cipher RC1168 (talk • contribs).
- The Galactic Marines are an element of the Grand Army of the Republic. The GMs are mainly ground troops who have served in space, as have army troops in the real worlds sea rather than space.
I am going to delete all the weapons list except for the DC-15. The only weopons actually seen outside of Battlefront II is the DC-15, and Battlefront II is known to be false in most details except the storyline. —Unsigned comment by Cipher RC1168 (talk • contribs).
Battlefront II actually has a bit more canon than just the storyline, notably the equipments of each units. While some elements of the Battlefront series are definitely false, you can't assume that everything else but the storyline is false, especially the ones that aren't mentioned in any other source. Actually, most of the weapons in Battlefront I & II are seen outside the series, including the E-11, DL-44, PLX, E-5s, etc. and the HH-15 is included in the Databank. In any case, I'm readding the list to be consistent with all the other articles that included lists for the units, and also, despite its many inconsistencies, the Battlefront series have yet to be proven incorrect when it came to the equipment, rather the opposite.
