For the skeptical...
Edit
- Title was revealed here: http://www.michaelreaves.com/books.htm Tam 11:42, 20 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Is it possible there was a typographical error and the title is "Chiaroscuro"? At dictionary.com, "Chiascuro" doesn't yield a definition, but offers a redirect to the latter word, the definition of which seems as though it can be appropriate as the title of the book. I also didn't see the title on that page, but I only briefly scanned it. 68.7.13.203 04:13, 8 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- For more information, I believe Wikipedia has a page titled this or something similar. They also have a slight bit more information that we could put into this page, without plagiarism. Sorry, did I spell that right? User:Cell3

Chiaroscuro? Sins of the Father? What's correct? - breathesgelatinTalk 05:31, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- That's the first I've heard of Sins of the Father. Better ask Mr. 69.235.86.144 about it. -- Ozzel 05:37, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

- Since the original edits were done way back in October of last year, I'd say that it looks pretty likely that it was someone at LFL (or possibly the author himself) that made those edits. StarNeptuneTalk to me! 05:45, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

Continuity errors
Edit
- This book seems to contain a couple of obvious continuity errors. It claims that the invasion of Naboo occured 23 years before the events of the novel, which is set in 19 BBY. The invasion actually happend 13 years before it. Also, Gregar Typho is seemingly killed off, despite him appearing later on, in Star Wars Galaxies --Jinzler 12:59, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- And Chuenh appears when it shouldn't and Barris Offee's recording is referred to as having happened over twenty years ago by Rhinann. The date things can just be acknowledged as mistakes, really, the Chuenh thing can be ignored, and LFL will likely create an elaborate retcon for Typho while still deeming Galaxies C-canon. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 13:05, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- Also, Rhinann refers to Adegan crystals and Ilum crystals as if they are different things, when they are the same. It is unlikely that he would make such a mistake, as he spends so much time studying the Force --Jinzler 08:35, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, yes, yes. This book is horrendous in terms of going with established canon. And it was downright boring until the last 50 pages, but that's another matter entirely (not for here). Chack Jadson (Talk) 18:57, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
- I agree with you, Michael Reaves seems to be good at filling up a lot of space in his novels, where nothing actually happens (see the Death Star novel and the Medstar series). Also, I am beginning to wonder if Lucas books actually check for errors before publishing stuff --Jinzler 20:21, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
I actually LIKE the way that he shows normal parts of the character's lives, instead of just action, action, action. It's a cool change. The only thing I don't like is the way he made Vader talk, Vader dosn't use big words, nor simplistic ones, bu in between. (He made Vader use big words :P)
Aurra Sing Duels
Edit
There are two important Aurra Sing duels in the novel (the one in the carnival vs Laranth, and the one at the end vs. Jax), but only one of these, the carnival duel, is listed as an event on this page, and the other, the duel with Jax, is not listed on there at all, despite it being one of the climax points of the novel. Also, neither of these duels have pages. I don't have the novel with me currently, and so cannot create either page or make an accurate name for either duel. Could someone please do this, and then make sure that they are both listed under the events section for the novel? Jonjedigrandmaster 13:00, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
Vader vs. Typho
Edit
On top of the two Aurra Sign duels (Aurra vs. Jax and Aurra vs. Laranth), there needs to be a page for the Vader vs. Typho confrontation. WHY DO NONE OF THE MAJOR EVENTS IN THIS NOVEL HAVE PAGES???????? This desperately needs attention. Thank you! Jonjedigrandmaster 02:56, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
Xenomorph: What the Sith?
Edit
Why in the Sith is Xenomorph listed in the species section? No where in the book is it even 'indirectly mentioned' 66.19.94.195 22:27, September 13, 2009 (UTC)
- It's mentioned around page 80 or so, when it's explained how Den had seen lots of different creatures on Drongar if I remember right. However, it's not referring to the Xenomorphs (like, from the Alien film series) but rather just the word "xenomorph", which is a fancy way to say "extraterrestrial". And believe me, I know a thing or two about Xenomorphs. :p Xenomrph 10:00, November 17, 2009 (UTC)
