Length?
Edit
Is it just me or isn't 150 M a bit BIG for a ship that looks way smaller as easily shown by the cockpit size? 216.113.201.89 00:37, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
Name change?
Edit
Does anyone else think this name change is too drastic? Grand Moff Tranner

I assmued that since the Nebulon Ranger artical had already been changed then this artical should also be changed personal I like Coruscant-class Heavy Courier so if you want to change it back feel free. (This is my artical I have changed so please feel free and let me know of mistakes) (Thunderer 11:37, 4 June 2008 (UTC))
- Something is definitely off. I don't have the Power of the Jedi Sourcebook; are you absolutely sure the "Crescent-X9" designation is referring to the Coruscant-class heavy courier? Grand Moff Tranner

Postive I am not in favor of the change but it's canon and Nebulon Ranger which is the only known ship has already changed to fit this. (Thunderer 03:24, 6 June 2008 (UTC))
- Note that I'm just repeating what I posted on my talk page. New sources don't necessarily outweigh older ones. I think that the designation may be something along the lines of "Crescent-X9 Coruscant-class heavy courier" or "Coruscant-class Crescent-X9 heavy courier," because I doubt that they'd just throw out the "Coruscant-class" designation. - Originally I tried to argue the same point and failed the new source beats the old one. TheWookieeProject Tales of the Jedi will review this artical; I would bring any issues up to them. This page should not have any conflicting information with the Nebulon Ranger page. Thanks; sorry I can't be any actual help. (Thunderer 04:26, 7 June 2008 (UTC))
- I'm telling you, this new designation will most likely be retconned in the future to being a part of the Coruscant-class designation. Some screwed up big time, not realizing there was already a name for the class. Grand Moff Tranner

- They didn't just change name, but also size, weaponry, manufacturer, everything.JustinGann 18:03, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
- So what should be done? Have this article plus a Coruscant-class heavy courier article as well? Grand Moff Tranner

Here is a contrast of the two sources I did at TFN
Coruscant-class manufacture: Corellia StarDrive size: 150 meters armament: 1 pulse-wave cannon, 3 laser cannons, 4 proton torpedo launchers, 2 concussion sphere launchers crew: 2 passengers: 6 cargo: 25 metric tons
Crescent-X9 manufacture: Krasten Shipyards size: 25 meters armament: 4 laser cannons, 2 concussion missile launchers crew: 2 passengers: 4 cargo: 20 metric tons
I suggest we create a special template that contrasts the stats acc. to the sources, for the sake of completenessJustinGann 11:18, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
- This might be a little drastic, but perhaps we should have separate articles. One for the Coruscant-class and one for the Crescent-X9. Then we'd simply explain that the two ships are meant to be the same in the BTS, and go into detail on the errors. Grand Moff Tranner
