Edit
In a gesture to the fans Obsidian Entertainment provided the PC version of the game with many resources meant to be used for the original ending, such as screen plays, voice-acting, etc. -- I think it's a little spurious to suggest that Obsidian deliberately left the cut material in the PC version 'for the fans.' For one, it was on the Xbox version as well - it's not like they made any special effort for the PC. For another, if they always planned to have the material in there and then had to rush the ending, it's probably more likely that the material was left floating around because it means less effort all round to leave the files as is. You ever wondered how much redundant/unused code floats around in Windows, for example? 210.10.183.36 10:38, 27 March 2006 (UTC) (schmoopy, unregistered for now...)
- A similar thing was said with GTA: San Andreas' skateboard. It's not that the skateboard wasn't in the PS2/Xbox versions, it's just that the PC is infinitely easier to mod. A better way to say this would be something along the lines of "the PC version enabled fans to restore cut material". Garrett 09:58, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
Known cut endings
Edit
Who says all of that material was indeed meant to be in the final game? Much more than that can be found that really doesn't belong in the final storyline anymore, digging that stuff up just adds to the confusion of many who found themself playing a trifle more complicated and introspective game than they expected. One who has played some times through recognizes that the actual story makes more sense as it is. What the game would have been, had there been more time, is something we can arguably speculate about considering the fact that alternative content is not limited to the ending of the game and no one actually knows what was meant to be dropped and what was not. We can't talk about "cut endings" any more than we can talk about the Exile meeting Mira on Peragus, fighting Atris and the Handmaidens before leaving Telos for the first time, and many other things that make no sense since early development i'm afraid. Inconsistencies with the chronicles are pretty much evident, spreading through the whole story, they hardly represent a solid reference. --Jinger 21:56, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
Force sight
Edit
I have noticed that the alignment function of force sight was mostly un-finished. It seems like only characters with very obvious alignment and party members can be read with this ability. Almost ALL characters read as the same shade of Grey. The practical use of this feature was very much left out of the game. Funny how they advertised this ability before the game's release release. This skill is ONLY useful for seeing through doors. 65.27.139.162 07:59, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
TSLRCM
Edit
TSLRCM is a mod that has restored most of the content (currently in public beta) made by DStoney (same one who did the droid planet mod). Can someone please mention this?
man it says the cut content was asking atton about repairs i did that! no joke i did! --58.108.244.197 11:50, January 8, 2011 (UTC)
M4-78 in trailer
Edit
So, has anyone noticed that the landing pad for M4-78 is actually in the trailer for this game? I know this is a a late discovery but, still, kinda funny. It's right after the PC is walking towards the camera in the Mandalorian camp, as the voice says, "...who has yet to choose his role in the galaxy." --Alexms96 02:04, June 28, 2011 (UTC)
External links are dead
Edit
Most of the external links on this article are dead, and thus rather useless. I'm hesitant to remove them, though. RobertM525 19:23, March 16, 2012 (UTC)
- Not that useless, as atleast we know from where they were when we try find some archives of those occasionally. Indeed replacing them with working links would be nice. /: – Tm_T@Wookieepedia:~$ 20:02, March 16, 2012 (UTC)
