Talk:Cuy'val Dar

Back to page

  • I have a question: I remember reading some time agao that some of the Cuy'val Dar were former members of the Mandalorian Death Watch. I came to search Wookieepedia for and article that will confirm this, but I can't find anything that will comfirm it now.(though I am sure I first red it here)

Were any of the Cuy'val Dar former members of the Death Wathch?? - Jaret Byar

    • I'm betting probably not, since Jango Fett chose the members of the Cuy'val Dar. The fact that he had a major beef with the Death Watch and essentially made it his personal mission to wipe them out leads me to believe that there were no Death Watch members as part of the Cuy'val Dar. — Sadriel Fett Mandalorian Neo-Crusader and Modern Era Symbol.JPG (Mando'a) (Bounties) 07:42, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

So if 75 of the 100 Cuy'val Dar were Mandalorians, who were the other 25? Jenosidanian 04:57, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Bric Edit

  • As Bric trained troopers, and the Cuy'val Dar trained commandos, him and his partner would not be part of the Cuy'val Dar. There is a difference between the trooper sergeants (the Clone Wars really messed up since there ARE NO trooper drill sergeants according to the RC books) and the Cuy'val Dar. If someone has other info please say so. brightfur (Questions or comments) 04:31, September 27, 2011 (UTC)
    • Cuy'val Dar trainers like Cort Davin were canonically brought back to Kamino as part of Alpha-17's ARC trooper training program. Clone Captain Rex has also been canonically established as having undergone training by Mandalorians, hence the Jaig eyes he wears on his helmet. Since a major part of the episodes Bric was involved with was bounty hunters/mercenaries training ARC troopers, he warrants a mention. The fact that he and El-Les weren't specifically referred to as Cuy'val Dar in the show because TCW hates RepCom, warrants the (Possibly) tag and the BTS note. • Although that is an excellent point, there are no other known non-human Cuy'val Dar, and although that may be sheer coincidence, it is also possible that Jango wanted a Human staff since they would be training purely Human Commandos. Also, Bric and El-Les weren't training officers, nor were they training officers to think more creatively. They were training trooper cadets. brightfur (Questions or comments) 19:25, September 29, 2011 (UTC)
