Needs worksEdit

This page needs some serious work.

It needs a good spellcheck and grammarcheck.

It needs a spoiler warning, and a note that many of the events described depend on how the game is played.

  • Spoiler tags only go on things until a month after they are released in all countries, and thus this article does not merit them. Canonically, KOTOR is played as a male lightsider, and KOTOR2 is played as a (sex unknown) lightsider, and thus all of the articles on the Wookieepedia reflect this. If, however, you see spelling or grammer mistakes then feel free to fix them. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 13:15, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
    • Well, I just nominated it for an improvement drive. I think this article really needs it. I'd be glad to help once some second opinions start popping up about the issues below. --Ambrose 03:38 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Corporation vs ArmsEdit

Where is it stated Czerka Corporation and Czerka Arms are one and the same? It's not in the NEGWT, and the NEGD states "Today, the Czerka Corporation is the galaxy's third largest arms manufacturer..." implying the name is still used in the "present day" (as of the Dark Nest crisis, judging by the book's history section) - Kwenn 18:07, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

  • Anyone? - Kwenn 07:32, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

The artical should be Corporation not arms, as its largest appearence , (kotor and kotor II) it was going by the name Czerka Corp 84.70.40.32 20:51, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Yeah the wiki policy is that the artical is to be called how its best known and as in the games being interactive you take more notice of thing especially as in kotor 1 you fight them and kotor 2 you ether spy on them or work for them, plus the old logo should be used as again it is better known with that. Alexsau1991 19:07, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

EvidenceEdit

"The Prosecution's main case rested on the following evidence:" and a list following. What's the source for all this evidence being actually used in court? If it isn't in the NEGD, it's fanon with 97% probability. - Sikon [Talk] 06:41, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

HKsEdit

First of all, wasn't HK-47 made by Revan? And wasn't the rest of them made by G0-T0?

I'm pretty sure they weren't made by Czerka if that's true.. --Waterwaker 10:03, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

  • The first HK models were made by czerka --Dixieboy 00:20, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

Appearance?Edit

There are crates in Outlander which bears the name Czerka Weapons Inc. Does this count as an appearance?

I mean, the corporation itself isn't shown, and if we use stuff manufactured by them as basis for appearances, every sighting of every item created by a corporation would count towards that corporation's appearances. On the other hand, though, a corporation isn't a visible, tangible object. If we don't count objects representing it, how are we supposed to qualify its appearances? Move Czerka Arms to Czerka Corporation Edit

Any one agree with this move? As wiki policy is to be known as best known name not most recent, and corporation is better known. any one agree Alexsau1991 19:18, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

  • Considering that's not this wiki's naming policy, no. -- I need a name (Complain here) 19:20, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
    • Considering that is wiki's naming policy. Quotied from wikipedia naming plolicy page-

==Use the most easily recognized name== Generally, article naming should prefer what the greatest number of English speakers would most easily recognize, with a reasonable minimum of ambiguity, while at the same time making linking to those articles easy and second nature.

This is justified by the following principle:

The names of Wikipedia articles should be optimized for readers over editors, and for a general audience over specialists.

Wikipedia determines the recognizability of a name by seeing what verifiable reliable sources in English call the subject.

so as it is best known as corporation and not as arms it should be moved from Czerka Arms to Czerka Corporation. Alex1991 11:29, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

  • Wookieepedia is not Wikipedia. Wikipedia can name their articles whatever they want, it's irrelevant to this website. Wookieepedia's naming policy is that articles go under the last name used, which this article already conforms to. -- I need a name (Complain here) 17:37, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

Great Droid Revolution Edit

The article does not mention anything about Czera's involment in the GDR, can someone fix this? Mythosaur 23:11, September 18, 2009 (UTC)

Infobox Products Edit

Just wondering if we should add a list of the products into the infobox spot. Instead of adding every specific weapon made, we could just add Blasters, Flamethrowers, Grenades, etc. We could also add the droid models since there are only a few of them. Once I get an answer I can start working on it, I don't want to mess with anything until I get an ok. TK-299 (Click Here) Imperial Emblem.svg 10:18, May 3, 2010 (UTC)

Opening section of article suggest Czerka met its end at some point Edit

"Czerka Arms, also known as Czerka Weapons, formerly known as the Czerka Corporation, and founded as Czerka Mining and Industrial, was a galaxy-spanning business" - past tense. But there is no direct mention of Czerka's demise in the article. 78.88.117.116 10:28, May 8, 2010 (UTC)

  • You will find that all articles on Wookieepedia are written in past tense, due to the line "a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away", which occurs at the beginning of each movie. SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is a lie) 10:39, May 8, 2010 (UTC)
    • Yeah, i've just found it. I tried to delete my ignorant statement, but your reply prevented me from doing it. Past tense was confusing for me at first, but i am used to it already. 78.88.117.116 10:42, May 8, 2010 (UTC)

Redlinks Edit

Anyone know the source of any of the three redlinked weapons on this page? No other pages on Wookieepedia seem to link to them but if someone Identified the source I'd happily write the articles. If a source can't be found they should be removed from this page Ayrehead02 11:44, June 2, 2011 (UTC)

Founder Edit

The infobox lists the founder of Czerka as Pollard Seario, whereas all of my research lists him merely as the President of the company as of the KotOR games. Do we have a source on him actually being the founder of Czerka, or is this merely conjecture?98.85.239.91 09:45, June 3, 2011 (UTC)
