Talk:DC-19 "Stealth" carbine
Back to page
- Magazines using this mixture had textured strips on the side to assist in locating in a magazine pouch...
- The magazine also featured a microchip that allowed the DC-19 to recognize that a "stealth" magazine had been loaded, automatically switching the internal components to allow for invisible fire.
- It took 15 seconds for the blaster to cool after each shot of this special mix. If the cool down rate was ignored, each sucessive bolt would become more and more visible. Damage taken in this way was irreversable, and the entire forward blaster assembly had to be replaced in order to once again fire covertly. There was no mechanical device to prevent shooting faster than recommended; it was decided it was better to have a visible bolt than a dead trooper with a cooling weapon.
- The weapon fired in semi- or full- automatic modes, albeit silently, as the audible dampeners were unaffected by fire rate and were always active.
- Um... where is the source for any of this? Looks to me like 69.192.252.83 is adding in his own details. Unless this is sourced, it should be reverted. --Thetoastman 23:33, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

- Done. I'm pretty sure he's Maso Tirag, based on the similarity of his edits to one of Maso's SW.com blogs, but if it's not in the article, it's not canon. --Thetoastman 13:40, 17 May 2006 (UTC)

Is this a sniper rifle? Because I don't see a scope of any kind on it.
- I don't think it's a sniper rifle. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

Re: is it a sniper rifle.
Edit
Sorry for my lack of Wiki know how... I don't even know how to reply to a post in tab form. Sorry... Anyways...as to the question, "Is it a sniper rifle?", no, it wasn't designed specifically as a sniper rifle, but it's a modular design, similar to the DC-17, to allow the addition of a scope, be it thermal or other SW tech type. Is this answer canon...no, as was discussed previously, any additions or backstory not in the Database aren't canon, but fanon, even if made by the contributor of the WTS piece. Take care, "Maso"
A source for BlasTech Industries
Edit
Could someone provide for me a source that says BlasTech Industries made the DC-19? Kilson 11:43, March 8, 2011 (UTC)
