Fact question
Edit
Quote:"While battling the Imperial AT-ATs, Ralter detected an emergency power failure and suggested to Skywalker he cut the ship to auxiliary power, but Skywalker ordered him to continue firing. Ralter's perception was right, and the powerboard on his side exploded, killing him instantly." - Is that what happened? In the Marvel comics, he died when the snowspeeder was shot. -LtNOWIS 02:37, 28 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- The Databank says, "A shot square in the aft section of Luke's snowspeeder, however, ended Dack's life instantly." I was just reusing the text already in the article - good eyes, LtNOWIS. Go ahead and fix 'er up. --SparqMan 02:42, 28 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Then again, the Databank also calls him "Dack", which has apparently been brought back to Dak. --SparqMan 16:21, 28 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Dak's age
Edit
The Databank says Dak was liberated from the labor colony when he was 17. The article suggests he was killed at 17 years, too. Was he trained very quickly or did someone do some questionable back-tracking? MaxVeers 03:24, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I don't think its possible he was born in 14 BBY, which would make him 17 by the Battle of Hoth. I originally sourced this with info from Galaxy Guide 3: The Empire Strikes Back, which also mentions an age of 17 when he escaped and joined the Alliance, but this would seem to contradict all of his video game appearances. Upon closer examination of both sources, it mentions nothing of being 17 when he served at Hoth. Considering his earliest appearance in SW was in Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 6 months after Yavin, I'm guessing his birth date is closer to 17 BBY, so I'm removing this info.Toprawa and Ralltiir 02:32, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
Disambig?
Edit
There is also a Dak in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. A minor character found on Korriban's Sith Academy if you visit with Juhani. —Unsigned comment by 86.141.179.71 (talk • contribs).
Star Wars Galaxies
Edit
Dak is an NPC in Star Wars Galaxies. He is in Dearic on Talus, but I can't find any information about why the developers placed him there. When trying to talk to him he just says that he's waiting for a friend, but he doesn't seem to be part of any quest (unlike all other movie and EU characters in the game). And I haven't found anything about him in the game files so far. --Craven 06:12, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
