Great Scott, that's certainly not how I imagined him... - Sikon [Talk] 11:57, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

  • I found out from Wikipedia that there are several people called "Daniel Wallace", some of them being writers. Is it really the Star Wars book author in the picture? Snoop 12:04, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
    • It's the same guy in the pic in The New Essential Guide to Droids. jSarek 12:10, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
      • Why exactly is it so hard to believe? --Sauron18 12:28, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
        • I almost spit my soda out when I saw that pic. AdamwankenobiTalk to me! My home. 13:07, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
          • I agree with Sauron; Dan looks like a pretty cool guy to me. Funny, he looks similar to one of my friends... whose name is also Dan. --Azizlight 13:27, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
  • I see nothing wrong with this pic. Does it really matter what he looks like? StarNeptuneTalk to me! 13:31, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
    • Well, nothing wrong, just for some reason I imagined him as a stern, bearded guy, and here he looks more like a geek. - Sikon [Talk] 13:36, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
      • "Stern, bearded guy" you say? :p --Sauron18 14:02, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
        • No, younger. Sort of like Obi-Wan (in ROTS) or Kyle Katarn. - Sikon [Talk] 14:05, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
          • He looks just like Greg Proops! 19:03, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
            • Wait a minute -- I've written more than a million words about Star Wars, I have a weakness for naming new Supreme Chancellors at the drop of a hat, and I maintain a blog devoted to Captain Panaka ... and you guys are surprised I look like a geek?  :) --Danwall88
              • You do have a point. :P AdamwankenobiTalk to me! My home. 14:06, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
                • I'm thinking the expectation was of a more 'scholarly' geek -someone with a more wizened visage, steeped in the lore of years of travel around the Galaxy ;) Tocneppil 17:12, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
  • It is funny how you get images in your head. I had more of a Stephen King look in my head...though younger.  :p WhiteBoy 23:47, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
  • By George, it is Greg Proops! :P I was expecting an older looking individual too, but hey everyone looks different from what they might appear. -- Riffsyphon1024 02:05, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
  • Geek? I think he's adorable (though I have a soft spot for geeks, I am one myself and hope the rest of you are too, to be editing this site). Besides, better say nice things, I'll bet he has an account here, having mentioned wookieepedia in his blog. --64.253.48.73 23:18, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Essential Guide to Supreme Chancellors

  • Loved his tech-specs. And on his quote for having a weakness for creating Supreme Chancellors at the drop of a hat, shall we presume to expect a new Guide in the future? ;) Tocneppil 18:58, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
    • Personally, if something like an "Essential Guide to Politics" was released I'd wet my pants. Although Cloak of Deception was close enough for the TPM era. Kuralyov 02:15, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
      • You might still see it in the Essential Atlas if he inserts some political information. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:55, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
