Regressed Ancestors?
Edit
Pure speculation, but as the Dantari don't appear in any sources prior to the Rebellion era, is it possible they are the culturally regressed descendants of the colonists from the KOTOR era? They're essentially humanoid. I only ask on the off chance that this actually has been covered in some obscure resource. -Dangerdan97 10:52, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
Dantooine Intelligent Life
Edit
Can someone pull out more sources about Dantooine intelligent life? I believe the Dantari are not the only near-humans there. There also live the Mokk, who are also similar primitive beings. The Mokk can be found on Dantooine in Star Wars Galaxies. --Battlemaster 07:59, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- In Star Wars Galaxies there are four tribes on Dantooine: Mokk, Janta, Dantari and Kunga. The game seems to treat them as four separate tribes (there are many Mokk, Janta and Kunga NPCs, but also NPCs that are only called "Dantari"), but in one of the loading screens (and possibly in other locations) it says that the Dantari are the only known humanoid tribe on Dantooine. So I'd say that the other three are just different Dantari tribes. --Craven 21:56, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
