Royal Guard = Dark Side Adept?
Edit
Why are the Royal Guard listed as Dark Side Adepts? Only a select few Royal Guards had the ability to use the force, and the way I understand it that was just the result of chance. In fact, the only force-sensitive Guard I can recall is Jax. Cull Tremayne 03:43, 7 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- You're probably right. Admiral J. Nebulax 12:48, 7 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- So any objection to me removing the Royal Guards and Royal Guards in Training? (I'll leave Carnor Jax of course)Cull Tremayne 19:47, 7 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- I think Kir Kanos was one, though. Admiral J. Nebulax 20:09, 7 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Any source for that? I don't think he's mentioned as such in the comics.Cull Tremayne 20:32, 7 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Never mind. Admiral J. Nebulax 20:35, 7 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Kir Kanos used the Force once in Crimson Empire during the flashback to his "duel" with Vader. It was shown very briefly, and is easy to miss, but it shows he can use the Force.--68.0.144.96 05:12, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- It should be changed to Imperial Sovereign Protectors, the specific term for Royal Guard Force adepts. "Normal" Guardsmen were not Force-users. Evir Daal 09:11, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

- Think you could go to Kir Kanos' talk page with that info? It could help clarify whether Kanos was force-sensitive or not. Cull Tremayne 07:26, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- The book doesn't necessarily say that only the Protectors were Force-sensitive, but that they were the only ones to be trained in the use of dark-side techniques. So I'm afraid it won't be much help there. Evir Daal 09:08, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- Funny, because I remember something about a trained Force-sensitive Emperor's Royal Guard. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- Then he probably was a Protector. They weren't an entirely separate order, but rather the elite of the Imperial Guard. Evir Daal 12:05, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- No, he was a standard Emperor's Royal Guard. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- OK, then I don't know about that. Perhaps there were exceptions. Where did you get that from? Evir Daal 08:48, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- I'm looking. For some reason, I think it was a comic. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

Force Adepts
Edit
Would Force Adepts be considered as Dark Side Adepts? -- I need a name (Complain here) 12:46, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- I don't see why not. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)
21:30, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- We should probably merge it into this then. -- I need a name (Complain here) 21:53, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think so. They were still separate; I guess I misunderstood your question. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)
