BioEdit

This bio definitely came from somewhere, especially since it doesn't even tell his entire story. Kuralyov 19:16, 28 Aug 2005 (UTC)

  • Agreed. Lets just replace it with the wikipedia article. CptKenobi 21:32, 13 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Is there a reason why the article shouldn't replaced, or can I (or someone else) go ahead and do it? - Angel Blue 451 22:04, 1 Dec 2005 (UTC)

ImageEdit

I don't like the lightsaber in the pic.... -- Inmobilus 19:26, 28 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Dark Lord Of the Sith?Edit

It says Darth Bandon was a Dark Lord Of The Sith, however I don't believe he was even considered a Sith Lord was he? SSupa 02:46, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Sith Lord?Edit

"was a Human Sith Lord apprenticed to Darth Malak during the Jedi Civil War."

As far as we know he was only ever a Sith apprentice. Nothing is ever said or done to indicate that he was a Sith Lord. If he was a Sith Master, then it would be questionable. But as far as we know he never rose above the rank of apprentice, and this isn't Darth Bane's Sith Order--Master Dakari 18:58, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

  • Let me once again remind whoever keeps changing the article that this game takes place roughly 3,000 years before Bane's Sith Order comes into existence. The Rule of Two has no authority over this part of Star Wars history because it has not been created yet. Darth Bandon was only ever known to be a Sith apprentice. Nothing is ever said, either in the game or any other official source, that he was a Sith Lord. Until you can find that information, and present it here for all to see, quite changing the article!--Master Dakari 22:53, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
    • And as another reminder, he was never said to be Jedi Knight either. The only thing we know was that he was a "student" of the Jedi and also had a Master. Correct me if I'm wrong, which isn't likely, but this means that he was a Jedi Padawan. Let me point out that there is a very basic rule one this site. That is, "No Fanon". This is to be a reliable source of information that can be backed up with an official source. This simple rule is put underneath every single editing box for ALL to read before making any changes to an article, and is not done so for the administrator's amusement. So, please look at it from time to time.--Master Dakari 23:22, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
"Submitted content must be from a canon source and verifiable—this means no fanon."

The KotOR Campaign Guide lists Darth Bandon as a Sith apprentice, not Sith Lord. Cylka-talk- 17:06, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

  • How's that even possible? When Ulic became Exar Kun's apprentice, he was a Sith Lord. Even when Sion and Nihilus were under Traya, they were Lords as well? Anyone who is apprenticed to the Dark Lord of the Sith would have to be a Lord. Especially if they're holding the title of Darth nowadays. What do you think? 131.109.1.48 17:00, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Behind The Scenes ErrorsEdit

I'm not sure who wrote that about when you meet Darth Bandon on KOTOR, but its wrong. According to the Prima Official Strategy Guide, you will face Calo Nord first, then Darth Bandon at any of the remaining locations after you've defeated Calo Nord. The four locations are:

  • The Shadowlands of Kashyyyk, near the basket you use to ascend/descend to the Shadowlands
  • At the Krayt Dragon cave on Tatooine, after you've defeated it and obtained the Star Map
  • Entering the Valley of the Dark Lords on Korriban
  • Leaving Hrakert Station after collecting the Star Map on Manaan

I've encountered Calo Nord on Tatooine, then went to Kashyyyk and encountered Darth Bandon. Just depends on the route you take. -- Matadore 09:09, 27 May 2006 (EST)

  • I killed Calo on my first planet Kashyyyk. then Bandon 2 planets later on Manaan--69.108.124.0 06:14, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

I love this bitEdit

Bandon was known for his ruthless streak. It was not unknown for him to take the lives of several people and damage equipment for a perceived transgression as minor as walking in his way.

AKA: "He was a complete idiot". :D (Ulicus 17:54, 14 June 2006 (UTC))

Agreed. Anyone who feels the need to kill several soldiers by blowing up a console is a complete fool. I just wanted to say that was the first thing I thought when I saw that scene in KOTOR. -- Doran 17:46, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
Uhhh, couldn't YOU do that as Revan? In Kotor is was an easy was to kill a lot of people and get points. When I fought him he was easy, went out like a punk. Katana Geldar 12:49, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

Bandon's Lightsaber Edit

Perhaps add a section in Behind the Scenes detailing the altered affects of the lightsaber he drops if you face him on Manaan? Not neccesary by any means, but definitly interesting information.--204.76.128.217 12:52, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

  • I dont understand what affection you are talking about... Darth Kevinmhk 17:51, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
  • i checked his saber and there was nothing special about it--69.108.124.0 06:11, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
  • You have to kill him in the Hrakert Rift station. Then, you have to make sure you DON'T remove the red crystal in the saber. The damage rating is about 3 points higher. It may not even be present with a patched game. - Allronix

Bandon on Endar sSpire Edit

O.k. this is kinda confusing, I'm pretty sure that it was him cause one of the chat options was saying, you killed Trask, you will pay for that, or something like that. so is it him or not? Groode hdoge 18:13, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Bandon was the "Dark Jedi" with the double-bladed lightsaber who Trask battles with alone, straight after leaving the command bridge of the Endar Spire. - Chaota Vos 23:06, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
  • I am curious as to how he got out, though. DAWUSS 02:55, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Not necessarily Dark Jedi

  • Actually, there is a dialogue option where Revan can shout at Bandon "Hey, you killed Trask! You'll pay for that!" - Allronix

Picture Edit

Can anyone get a screenshot of Darth Bandon in KotOR? Telos 10:24, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Hey, I've got a good image request. How about Bandon with his lightsaber on, with showing both blades this time. I'd like to see that in "Double-bladed lightsaber combat" as well. - Will Karner 7:58 P.M., 23 November 2007

Did he know... Edit

Did Bandon know that the player was Revan ?

  • Most likely. Jasca Ducato Sith Council 18:40, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
  • If he and Revan met each other before in the academy, yes. - Will Karner 18:30, 9 November 2007

Jedi Crusader? Edit

I am totally sure Bandon was a Jedi Crusader during the Mandalorian Wars. That would probably explain why he turned to the dark side. How else would he know about the Star Map on Manaan, anyway? - Will Karner 20:00, 9 November 2007

Padawan or Knight? Edit

I know there isn't much about Bandon's past in the Jedi Order, but was he a Padawan learner or a full Jedi Knight? Anakin was a Knight before he became a Sith apprentice, so I'm guessing Bandon may have too. Might as well put in the category "Pre-Ruusan Jedi Knights" for this dude. - Will Karner 4:10 P.M., 15 November 2007

His PastEdit

I am going to go ahead and say it. He was Zayne Carrick. Just think about it. The covennant betrayed him, and he is being hunted. Alek even said that he was going to play a big part in the war. - Revan rocks Caedus sucks December 2 2007

  • Haha, I was just thinking the same thing when I came across his article again. But, I don't know. Anyway, if there is new information released about him in the Jedi vs. Sith: The Essential Guide to the Force, could someone please update Bandon's article with the up-to-date info? I noticed that he was listed under the "Individuals" section, and thought that they might have revealed more about him.--Master Dakari 06:25, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

You know what, dudes? That sounds like a great idea. Zayne will play a big part in the war, as Malak's apprentice. The eye color's right and the face could use some changing when he grows up. What do you say that we go e-mail this to DH and ask if ther'ye giving Bandon a chance to be a really big character. This is going to be the greatest moment that has ever happened to us. Are you with me? - You-Know-Who 2:07 P.M, 21 December 2007

Not you again! This isn't the place to discuss the future of the characters, When are you going to understand that. I remember not to long ago you promied "scouts honor" that you wouldnt do this anymore, and if this is the greatest thing that has ever happend to you, you need to get a life. - Lord KAJ Company Office 20:08, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

You watch your mouth, Lord Scrooge! *sigh* Okay, so Bandon can't be Zayne. Zayne didn't have problems of controlling his rage. But I really want to see our old buddy in the comics. We all want to know what he looked like and what his real name was in his Jedi years, don't we? Perhaps he'll still have his hair. And I'm still saying he was a Crusader. - Will Karner 10:44 P.M, 22 December 2007

ImprovementEdit

I've improved the article, added sources, corrected some stuff. It looks a whole lot better than it did.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 16:54, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Why did Malak send Bandon anyway? That coward!

  • This page is for discussing improvements to the article. It is not for expressing personal opinion or insulting fictional characters. And he was sent because Malak had better things to do. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo.png 19:00, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

More pictures Edit

I got some official pics that you might want to upload here for Bandon:

What do you think? Lord KOT 01:55, September 6, 2009 (UTC)

  • They would have to be cropped, but they look good to me. I don't think there's enough room in the article for them, though. I'm really not the guy to aak--Jedi Kasra (talk) 15:01, September 8, 2009 (UTC)
    • Don't worry. We'll get through! I've found this other Bandon on Manaan pic here, though it's a bit blurry. But our guys can fix that in no time!: [1] Lord KOT 22:37, September 9, 2009 (UTC)
