CIS category
Edit
I put him in the category for a reason. Read the category definition: This category is for characters belonging to the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS) or one of its member organizations, such as the Trade Federation, Commerce Guild or Techno Union.. This was to stop the needless creation of a "Trade Federation" category. QuentinGeorge 06:22, 9 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- The problem, though, is that Dofine died months prior to the founding of CIS... --Imp 11:47, 9 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Dofine's nephew should be in the CIS catagory, but Daultay Dofine should not be in the CIS catagory. Imperialles is right about that. So, there really should be a Trade Federation catagory, even if it included Viceroy Gunray, Dofine's nephew, Senator Dod, and the others. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 11:51, 9 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- The Category isn't just for CIS characters. It's for characters affiliated with ANY of the CIS member organisations, either prior, or during the Clone Wars. (Read the category label again). Same deal with Iaco Stark. I did it this way to avoid the ridiculous over-proliferation of categories we seem to be acquiring. We don't need to make another pointless category for three or four people. It's stupid IMHO. QuentinGeorge 11:57, 9 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- I know he died before the founding of the CIS. But the category also says, and I quote or one of its member organizations, such as the Trade Federation, Commerce Guild or Techno Union. Capice? It's a catch-all category for people associated with the groups that went on to form the CIS. QuentinGeorge 11:59, 9 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Also, there are lots of other guys who died prior to the CIS founding living quite happily in this category. Dare you ruin their lives as well? :-) QuentinGeorge 12:07, 9 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- If you insist, then keep it that way. All we're saying is that Daultay Dofine was not a part of the CIS. We thought it would be better if he was in a Trade Federation catagory, along with all of the other Trade Federation members, no matter what time period they were from. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 14:38, 9 Aug 2005 (UTC)

- I think it should only be for characters belonging to the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS) or one of its member organizations after its formation.--Darth Oblivion 16:57, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- Darth Oblivion, this topic is over a year old, and it's already been decided not to have the category. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

Daultay's death picture
Edit
The image of Daultay Dofine aboard the Trade Federation Droid Control Ship is very bright, and you can barely make the outline of the Neimoidian. Can anyone fix the image to make it more visible? Cmdr. J. Nebulax 11:54, 12 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Ick, I don't think you can help that image. Someone needs to find the same scene maybe a second later showing the lightsaber scar. -- Riffsyphon1024 20:12, 12 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Lightsaber scar? What lightsaber scar? This is when the Droid Control Ship blew up after the Battle of Naboo in The Phantom Menace. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 20:31, 12 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Actually, I think if you look at his death picture, you can see a VERY small Saber scarOOM-10 09:20, 6 May 2007 (UTC)OOM-10
- I'll have to look at it closely. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) (Record of Imperial Service)

- The saber scar strecths from the arm that he's covering his face with to the left edge of his face.

Images.
Edit
Thefourdot, I reverted your main image picture change. Please do not change images without first discussing it on the talk page. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- Alright, let's discuss it. I don't want another Rune Haako on my hands. That image in the infobox is blurry, for one. It's an obvious scan, but the curvature of the page would have resulted in the blurry mitre. My image is from TOS, and though it's not great, at least it's clear. .... 01:04, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- I agree that the full-body picture is blurry; however, your headshot is either just as blurry or a bit more. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- Is it? I can't see it. .... 01:31, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- Well, sometimes certain images appear blurry to me but not anothers. Usually, a re-uploaded version of the picture fixes that. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- How about using this one?--Rune Haako 01:37, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

if he was captain of saak ak(the ship that the jedi visited in the opening scene) then why was he on the droid control ship when it exploded? if you look at saak ak, it has no communication gear, so its not the droid control ship. —Unsigned comment by 75.174.238.115 (talk • contribs).
