At one point in the book, Trig and Kale come across a prisoner who is described as having two bodies, one smaller then the other. And the larger one is mourning over the death of the smaller one. I was just wondering is this character from the Paaerduag species?
I know its dead, but who could have done that?99.182.210.220 21:03, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
Wait untill the book comes out and read it. We might have some speculation, but that is only speculation. It could be wrong. Mecenarylord 12:37, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Zombies did it--Ryal 07:05, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
It does seem to be undead-related. After all, think about how many different causes for zombification have been created: Bugs (The Queens, or 'Zombee's, in Dead Rising), parasites (Halo [the Flood], Resident Evil 4 [Las Plagas], Half-Life [Headcrabs], etc.), viruses (Resident Evil), and even freakier (e.g. viral/parasitic alien lifeforms [the Necromorphs from Dead Space], and so on. Add that to the description... well, I hope that it's something they can make a video game out of too, because that screams "WALKING DEAD THINGS!" to me --Phazon Sentinel 21:57, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
I' just wondering when the title was switched from Deathtroopers to Death Troopers. I couldn't find where this info came from. Anyone got that info, anyone? Prudii’verd 14:09, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
It had to be sometime between Febuary 19th and 26th (when the updates with those titles were posted). --Phazon Sentinel 21:48, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
SOE announced at their FanFaire convention that they are doing a tie-in with the novel in Star Wars Galaxies. Perhaps a mention of it should be added? More info here. OLIOSTER(talk) 21:08, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Definitely. The guy above was quite prophetic it seems... Nick Fel 08:05, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
It has been done. I've added it in plus have provided the promotional artwork for it. --Vitas 08:02, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
I mean seeing as there will be a tie-in for this with SWG and SWG takes place just before The Empire Strikes Back (putting aside the Hoth fight you can do in there), wouldn't this novel take place bit later than 0 ABY? --Vitas 08:02, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
I don't think we know for sure that the tie-in takes place in the same timeframe as the book. For example, the SWG story might be a recurrence of whatever happens in Deathtroopers a couple of years later. Nick Fel 10:35, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
My understanding is that the SWG tie-in will be more of a continuation of the book's events, as its been said by the SWG developers that the tie-in events will take place in a current or new city in SWG and a bunker within that city, not the ship from the book. OLIOSTER(talk) 23:54, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
Is this really an appropriate place for SWG concept art? It doesn't seem relevant to the book. Perhaps there should be a page for the Galaxies event, if there isn't one already. Nick Fel 09:43, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
Awesome!!! The troopers head is still in its helmet! 99.189.134.144 23:47, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
Nope sue rostoni said thats cloth not trooper. --JediShifty 18:07, September 2, 2009 (UTC)
The BTS section should mention TK329's Twitter page imo (I'd do it myself, but not with my poor english). It can be noted as well that TK329 mentions that he serves aboard the Star Destroyer Vector (no page for this one yet). -- Kaal 00:28, October 1, 2009 (UTC)
Ive been reading through it and at sometimes makes me think if this is really canon lol. Im sure it is but just to mak sure.74.220.191.164 16:46, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
Yes, the book is canon, but not cannon. I believe the phrase is "cannon go BOOM." =P - Brandon Rhea(talk) 17:12, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
The "writer summarry" and "internal flap" are exactly the same with slight differences in punctuation. Is this really necesarry to list both? 214.3.138.234 16:37, October 13, 2009 (UTC)Steve
I just checked out this, and the other Death Trooper's related pages, and many of them need work. I will be working on some, but this is sad that the book came out 2 weeks ago, and yet no plot summary! If you want to help, just give me a buzz. The Boba Fettest 18:20, October 27, 2009 (UTC)
On the character list in the book why does it have Purge as a character as a human female, and there's one that is a human male. The book never has these characters. Are the two ships supposed to be a character of something? Sainz 16:46, November 8, 2009 (UTC)
Those are the ends of the lines above them, which is why they're indented. Nick Fel 17:18, November 8, 2009 (UTC)
In the Characters section of the Death Troopers article, there's a character named Norbutal. Ahem. I've read the book, and Norbutal is a drug, a paralytic. Not an Imperial. I've made the proper article; can we please scrap the character page for Norbutal? MillieMuddFan67 21:03, May 17, 2010 (UTC)
