Older design
Edit
- isn't the older design the DX-9, and the younger design the DX-9s JustinGann 05:13, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- "DX-9s" as in plural of DX-9, or a subclass? Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- ^Yes. As I remember it the "DX-9s" is the later version of the Stormtrooper Transport introduced in XvT or Balance of power computer game. It probably had the same ingame stats but was now rendered graphically different with an airlock at the front of the craft. I would guess it was a result of the TIE Fighter to XvT graphical upgrade … but nevertheless it was now different looking and shown ingame with the name DX-9s and not just DX-9. - As a new topic, the armament rating for the DX-9 says that it has two projectile launchers with 3 torpedoes each, for 6 total. Did they get the amount of torpedoes from the game coding? Because from the picture, the older version looks like it should have 6 in each launcher, for a total of 12.
mention of specific transport names
Edit
Until recently there was a small section mentioning the 'most notable vessels' however not only it was removed, as well as mention of the 2-3 MOST signoficant of them are not to be included in the History section. I think that as few as 2 or 3 of indeed the most important of those vessels should be included as examples of how their action had been, and if that's not acceptable, then at least let us mention Omega and Sigma - which were not individual vessels but squadrons of vessels that had recurring appearances in the X-wing games missions. Forgive me Graestan, but following this (quite reasonable) reasoning I ask you to consider restoring them again. MoffRebus 10:41, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- There's a specific category for individual Delta-class DX-9 transports, which you yourself added in. At that point, there is no need for a list of the ships. However, I'd be fine with a short mention of both Omega and Sigma, without going in-depth. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)
