Den Siva=Morpheus?Edit

Is it just me or does Den look a heck of alot like Morpheus? The black clothes, the gaunt, pale physique, the wild black hair... The resemblance is uncanny! The resemblance is really uncanny and for some reason I doubt it was coincidental, as around the time that Den made his appearence, the Sandman comics were gaining popularity. The stark contrast in artwork style and emergence of a darker storyline matches the trend that was set in that era. Could Den be an homage to the Sandman?

• I'm not denying the visual similarity, but what makes you think that Siva would be an homage to Morpheus? Didn't that character appear in the early 90s? The last appearance of Siva was in 1986, and in that comic, Star Wars 107: All Together Now, he has this weird blue tint to his hair, and is pretty buff looking. Is there an indication that the character was in development or popular before 1985 (the first appearance of Siva)? Otherwise the only connection I can see is if Morpheus is an homage to Den Siva.
