[edit] Skin color

In the novel, Dev is described as being dark skinned. I'm just curious why artists have decided to draw him as a white kid? —Unsigned comment by 128.192.41.126 (talk • contribs).

  • Well, he may be Mediterannean, Iranian or Middle Eastern. These peoples have Caucasian features but darker skin and hair. Apparently, Iranians are classed as Caucasians in America despite their darker features. Or he may be Welsh who tend to have darker features than other British people. Even Eurasian or Mulatto. Well, that was what the artist must have had in mine. But who am I to say?Andykatib 07:21, 14th June 2009 (UTC)
