[edit] Plural form?
Is the plural form of this creature "Dianogas?" Because if it is, then the first sentence is grammatically incorrect. - TopAce 20:29, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
- I almost thought I heard both versions, but I've been seeing more of "dianogas" lately. -- Riffsyphon1024 22:05, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
- The New Essential Guide to Alien Species has it without the s. --Borsk Fey'lya Talk 17:06, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Jabba & Smartness
In the Inside the worlds of the Trilogy it shows some kind of tentacle creature in one of the torture cells. Could it be A Dianoga? Also how intelegent were they? Quinlanfan 21:45, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
- I doubt that was a dianoga that grabbed C-3PO in ROTJ. Likely just some other tentacled sentient or primitive species. Does your book show more than a tentacle? 134.39.61.223 23:24, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Dianoga
Its funny, mayby.
[edit] Dianoga Size
The article currently lists a dianoga's size as "3 to 10 meters." Is that the central body, or does that include the length of its tentacles? Maybe this should be indicated somewhere. Darth Sunder 03:27, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Toy
The original Kenner toy for the Death Star playset included a Dianoga in it's trash compactor. The soft rubber form resembled a green, mutant shark with an eye stalk protruding from its nose and its fins ending with tentacles. Obviously, the creature's form has been confirmed by newer, more canon sources. However, I was wondering if anyone agreed that this article might benefit by a mention of that early representation. Thoughts? Medleystudios72 19:01, 17 March 2009 (UTC) Maybe in the behind the scenes section Garadex using the force since 19bby 21:30, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
